  1. which catch cans are you guys using? the generic cheapo 20 quid ones? or proper baffled ones?
  2. Alternator will not work with the engine off.
  3. Odd that you saw where the Honda driver went and didn't follow to provide an ass kicking.
  4. I need wot tony has a crawler to Go under the car.
  5. Show the pics of how it looks now you fixed it.
  6. son of a bitch wankers. I can understand why the culprit didn't stick around. when you prang a car as good as a celica there is a high probability that the owner comes out not looking to take insurance details but to hand out an ass whuppin. in this one instance club stickers mean the owner is someone who is into the car and the likely hood of the ass lashing will be very high. I feel for you tom. if this happened to me I sometimes wonder if its better the culprit drives away otherwise my temper would get the better of me and then i would end up getting done for it.
  7. Happy Anniversary slybunda!

  8. or cover it with bodykit as iv seen on a lot of corsas
  9. yea i never was happy then they hammer tested the car. proper peed me off. its just as bad when they stick that screwdriver thingy into you wishbone bushes which i think causes more damage then regular wear and tear would.
  10. my fiesta was bady corroded on the sils, and after much patch work welding i got both sils replaced. but i deo remember them testing it with a hammer and smacking it all around the car. in hindsight the ones with the plastic kits on sils hide the rust and let it pass mot forever!!!
  11. they will hit it with a hammer normally, and if hammer goes through then its fail.
  12. I was wondering how my car got dirty, it was clean today when I went to work, come out after at 4:40pm ish and saw the car covered in this dust crap. not happy, cost me £3.50 for a car wash too at tescos. proper pissed now.
  13. hmm diesel is very cheap too compared to wd40 and alternatives. may get some and put in a spray bottle. what makes diesel so good at this sort of stuff?
  14. sounds like a lot of work and expense for just 190 horses?
  15. well i took my car for a test drive before i bought it and its power delivery was exactly what i was after, wanted a high revving engine with everything at the top end. if i wanted torque i would have gone for a v6 or turbo car or diesel. anyone who complains about the car lacking in mid range makes me wonder if they just ordered the car from online and never even took it for a test drive.
  16. the 190bhp figure is blag, should have been the real power output. shit sunroof and car has leaks leathers in the back of the car look fake and not like the front seats doesnt rev high enough could have done with an extra 800rpm stupid son of a bitch 6th gear which is like a 5 and a quarter gear. standard rims needed better quality pain / laquer job.
  17. wot happens if i put the stickers onto my fiesta?
  18. eurocarparts part number: 102820228 for the rear shoes, cost just over 14 quid delivered.
  19. looks like very easy fixes there, with just tightening up of nuts and bolts. the rear brakes will require the discs to come off or possibly not, if its catching on one side you could rotate the cog thingy to bring the shoes in more. although id take the disc off and clean everything up, if they have been dragging for a while the shoes may need to be replaced but they are cheapo from places like euro carparts etc.
  20. i bought the spring compressors and did the lowering of the car myself. bought few extra tools too. its not hard to do, fronts were proper easy. for the rears if someone else can do them its better a lot of fafing around. maybe if your near another club member he can pop down to give you a hand and even borrow the spring compressors.
  21. around 50 quid for the front pair to be done. they is very easy, just nuts and bolts
  22. question is, will the new turbo civic still rev over 8krpm??
