  1. Engines do lose power over time but a well maintained one shouldn't lose too much.

    Only way for sure is to take th engine out and put it on a crank dyno, a rolling road fly wheel figure doesn't really tell the whole story as all dynos vary massively.

    That's why are dyno days are good. 20-30 results to compare all on the same machine.

  2. Some may think im crazy, im probably am a little. But much like your self i brought my bonnet new because of the style, vents and weight reduction

    Personally im not a fan of the carbon look. Later in the year i will be going for a complete respray and that goes for the bonnet too. The top clear UV protection coat will have to be removed before the spraying begins

  3. Aerocatches FTW. mine is running stock catch and two lockable aero catches that were resprayed when i had the bonnet resprayd, so they arent as inyour face as say a set of black ones would be.

  4. So might be a bit of a dumb question but... Im re spraying all my engine plastics and ive just took the plactic cover of the top of the engine and I want to give it a clean before it goes back on. so what do I use to clean the engine block up? ive herd sand paper but that will scratch it all up right? Thanks for any tips
