  1. Owned the car 2 days, not seen anyone yet but they're a stuffy lot down here so unless 2 well modded ones meet I guess I will not be seen passed their seriously upturned noses. I live more in hope than expectation.
  2. Several season of dead leaves and enough gravel to start a small path under the mats of the TSport I picked up this weekend. Having got on with the seller and being generally very pleased I did text him to wish him well on his recovery from Hoover allergy, lazy sod.
  3. KU55 At Every D*ckhead now laying English Riviera :o)

  4. Car in profile pic due for collection 2.3.13. No Hiccoughs please!!!

  5. Failure cannot handle persistence........ A big shot is just a little shot that keeps shooting........ and other such positive mantras. Failing which....... " Just accept a reasonable offer and sell me the feckin thing will ya, or I'll be round and rip yer B****ks off. ok?" errrmmm It's been a very frustarting wait watching nice cars come and go whilst having stupid problems getting shot of own. However have thought laterally and taken a couple of punts today. So somone in Glasgow, St Albans or Warwick may be getting a nice wedge shortly. After a stockish lowish mileage TSport. Your threads and profile pic indicate you may be looking for something a little less conservative AND A BIT MORE SHOOOOUTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
  6. Dang right Cornet, Am buying and they all just evaporated over the weekend!!! But a couple of new ones on today. Not precisely what I stuck on the fridge but probably close enough. Oh please Lord let me have one this weekend!
  7. It's not paranoia. They ARE out to getcha! Iffy cars are a great pull for improving their statistics.
  8. Too true. I once worked for a firm that were agents for GA so I got a bit of a discount and thought I would be looked after when my lovely gold opel manta 2 ltr GTE got nicked oooo 20 odd years ago. Like feck!! We even had a row over the meaning of the word "value". I was dealing with a Cretin (a different one;o).) who absolutely insisted value meant what the figure in her little book said. I disagreed and provided a definition "Oh nooooo that's not what it means at all.Sir" "Really, I just read you the Oxford English Dictionary definition of the word. Please pass me to your supervisor" THEN they said the car was a mess, wrong doors, injection ripped out carbs put in "Can you prove it was immaculate when it was stolen?" Fortunately YES becasuse I had a new clutch fitted the day before it was nicked at one of your approved garages! Case closed.
  9. Seems ok if you do it right, but you can get caught out. I've been hit by a driver whose policy was avoided. Would have crippled me finacially if Ihadn't been fully comp with ncd protected. Just say play it safe guys insurers wriggle like eels to not pay out.
  10. The other danger as with any mod is if it's not declared on your insurance you risk not getting paid but especially if it ain't legal..................................
  11. If it is advertised widely at the right price it will sell. Sometimes the right price is not the one you would like. 03 Mondeo 68.5 k full history 1200 ouch! but thats what they fetch in Feb. spent months adverting it trying for 1500. Sold it off the street as I was prepared to drop the final couple of hundred to be shot of it and into something a bit more fun. Well a lot more hopefully! I am busting a gut to buy a TSport (eh Chris?) but am on a budget and won't pay over odds for tat. (Not suggesting for a moment yours is tat!!!!) But the variety of prices is huge! Just put it in at a bit over what you want and accept you will have to drop until it sells. You choose how fast and how far, but that's supply and demand. Present the car well in the pictures. Use proper English (saw one ad "Wiv new tyres" wouldn't buy from the plank on principle!). Plug mainteance all plus features and no BS! May help to mention the Club as it shows you loved the little bus, sad to see her go, sniff and good luck.
