  1. my genuine side skirts i purchased off Sleekadude, fantastic packaging took me awhile to get through it all, great guy to buy off, really quick sale and very fast postage also
  2. New challenge then: Your car with a train going past in the background. Unless badboy666 sets a new challenge.
  3. Happy Anniversary Heepsy92!

  4. No alex id rather pay the price rather than loose my 3 years of NCB and have my premiums go up. Lucky for me I always put some of which wage into a saving account so should be able to get it fixed some time this month hopefully if it passes its mot on monday.
  5. I might take you up on that Mick, going to give DIY car services a phone/text see if i can get some ramp time for next week, hate working in this rain. I think he meant the bolts not sure, couldn't get the wheels off the car today or get the jack because my dad took the shed key to work because he forgot to take the key off his keys.
  6. so even more bad luck! but I'm unsure on some things. I bought these drop links so unsure how they are insecure, he said they look like they are the incorrect drop links. The exhaust has a major leak but I don't notice any difference in noise. If the handbrake grabbing wouldn't I feel this as well? Also I'm unsure how to check this one so some advice would be great. Slowly losing the will to live, bad luck comes in three's just waiting for the next one now so I'm now going down in the rain to have a look at some of these things myself and see if they are easy fixes hopefully they are.
  7. So weird thing happened last night had a knock at the door telling me there was no Road tax on the car which there is and this stranger offered to buy the car :s just doesn't seem right. Police are coming out tonight as they couldn't come out Monday or yesterday, think it's worth mentioning? He did leave details on a scrap envelope.
  8. Its just that fear that if it doesn't fit then its gunna cost more money to get it perfect, but been on here a while now and know RTP the way to go for reps, maybe i take the dive for a rep if i cant find genuine. Its just one of those things you think your car is safe because it gets parked in the same place all the time, every day without any problems then bam this happens. Its horrid just seeing it done to someone else's car but when its your own its a thousand times worse.
  9. i think im gunna do what Splinter said, things like this only mean to mod more so spoiler wise will be keeping my eye out for something new and genuine don't fancy reps, so gunna be rocking the spoilerless look for a while hahah Colin the lights work fine its just got a gash on the top, no light escapes so all good there so will make do with them for the time being. Thanks for all the support guys its really helped and made me feel a lot better about a horrid situation.
  10. Cheers for the offer but I live in Scotland so travel would be costly. Gunna go to a garage at 2 to get a quote for the damage.
  11. Ams 400-600 is something i needed to hear! that's actually put me to ease knowing that ive got a estimate of a price range, I will be going around a few places to get quotes. The light isn't cracked its just got a big gash in it, so will pass which is happy to hear, the spoiler is a bit sharp in one place but its getting removed and grommeted, what size of grommet will i need?? as Boynxdoor has said the spoiler is low on the list, i dont mind running spoilerless for the time being until the damage is repaired then i will be looking for something new, never know what might pop up Tbh honest ive accepted its happened now, deep down im still angry but gotta look forward and have a positive attitude something good will be on the horizon im sure. Thanks for the help and advice guys, ill get asking around tomorrow no harm in it.
  12. splinter the first couple of hours at work, i was a ticking time bomb as people told me later in the day, the rage was written all across my face, the positive side is customers didn't come near me today always gotta look for that silver lining.
  13. well there is a lot of work lorries in the street because the road getting fix and my building is getting all new rough casting done outside, so could be anyone of the lorries pin pointing would be hard as for CCTV I doubt anyone has any and even if they did it wouldn't legally be allowed to watch the street since children live around here. I'm keeping my ear to the ground in case i hear anyone talking about it, hopefully tomorrow after work when im removing the spoiler someone will come to me with details of what happened but not keeping high hopes.
  14. its the standard 3 post spoiler, might give AMS a pm but will need to wait to friday to see what funds are like, monthly pay can be a pita also.
  15. I will be taking the brunt, taking this on insurance would kill me in the long term. The spoiler will be coming off ASAP, what's a good way to plug the holes so water doesn't leak inside?
  16. So woke up today already with the blues since its Monday and gunna be a long day at work, however when i got to the car this morning this is what i found: Pictures were taken after i finished work since i was so angry this morning i didn't think to take them then so now that ive been at work, ive managed to calm down and just accept that someone has done this damage and just carried on going, i will be getting this repaired myself rather than going through my insurance as i dont fancy having to lose my NCB etc.. but any advice on how to fix this would be great, im currently looking for a new spoiler but will have to be friday to buy anything since my MOT is on thursday which is what money i have left is currently going towards and will this affect my MOT?? thats what im worried about at the moment.
  17. £24.58 for 5L from my local dealer, I'm picking it up tomorrow.
  18. this is the camera i would get if i wanted one.
  19. If you get that done then, i can come see it, before i make my mind up if i want it done or not
  20. Hmmm.... I'm a bit curious by this as I've never seen it up close before, so a few questions 1. What does it feel like, felt? 2. Is its easy cleaned and does it get dirty easy? 3. What does it look like up close? shiny, glossy, matt?
  21. He bought a new Ford Focus back in 2006, just traded it in for peanuts and got himself a new Insignia and he has no knowledge on cars whatsoever, he makes me cry when I watch him clean *torture* his car but yea, "Dads always know best" haha
