Thanks will repair the damage & race it & see what its like & yes the s54 box is very good.

That's the problem as its had a front end impact i have only driven the car off my recovery truck & parked it up so gearbox is untested, if thats what there going for i may as well keep it in case my S5406d box goes wrong. Thanks for your input though.

Thinking of breaking an accident damaged gen 6 i have which i was going to build into another track car but as i have another two it might be this one that has to go. It is fitted with the E56 type gearbox & superstrut suspension. Does anyone know what these boxes are worth or is anyone looking for this gearbox?.

Yes they are good for the track (short oval racing) already race a ss2 which is great so the ss1 will be a spare oh & my mc strut one which is my spare spare,much rather find pounds rather then yen as i can spend the pounds.

Yes very nice when it happens unfortunately not often enough, picked up an ss1 yesterday which will be stripped for the track so will hopefully find some more goodies.

I purchased a gen 6 sr for £50 to build as a track car & whilst stripping the dasboard & interior out found £35 + some change,cheap car that one. Always finding the yen when i strip them.
