  1. Cheers guys! It might be easier to leave and spray them on the car then so I'm not having to get every bit of tiger seal off so they sit back flush when I re-tiger seal them on :-)
  2. I'm thinking of removing my trd spats so I can respray them off the car Instead of rushing it on the car. Now I've tiger sealed them on and then put black silicone round the top to seal it all, so all I need to know now is how easy or a pain in the arse will they be to remove and how will I do it, or would I end up ruining paint on my bumper?
  3. Nice one for finding that, saved me f*****g it up big time
  4. I thought you could wash it off? nitromors says its washable
  5. Does anyone know if its ok to use paint stripper on fibreglass? I want to strip the paint off my spats
  6. That guy needs some wheel spacers Plus it looks like a car from the 80's cartoon m.a.s.k
  7. There the battery's I stuck in just in case it was down to crappy battery's that weren't powerfull enough but still no locking or unlocking! Anyone any ideas what could be wrong?? Or is it dead forever :-(
  8. Yeah tried resyncing them but nothing! There the original fobs as well. They stopped working once before for a while but then one day started working again but then since stopping again they've never worked since
  9. Wish mine was the battery I've tried everything and they still don't unlock or lock the car!!! Red light works on the fobs but just doesn't do anything
  10. I bought a load of bits at the weekend, I got a big roll of 1/2 inch thick foam, double sided tape a d a few sheets of felt so I'll get stuck in one day soon, I just want to get rid of the bloody rattles! Especially the one right near my ear, it's either the seat belt thing attached to the pillar or the pillar but it drives me mad
  11. Just had a good read of that myself, I've got the same problem Tom. Too much road noise and rattles popping up everywhere it's really annoying me now
  12. I only want it for some interior bits but I wouldn't want anything glittery!
  13. Cheers mate, yeah I'm leaning more towards gloss carbon now
  14. I just can't decide! Like you say tony standard does look good but then the whole reason I did the carbon wrap was because mines a 25th anniversary with the carbon style centre console. I've got black leather and red stitched gear knob, gear gaitor, handbrake gaitor and red stitched steering wheel so I'm going for the same on the arm rest instead of carbon so that's that sorted! Now just new to decide about the rest
  15. Just had a look bit steep for me at the moment, I just need a cheap fix for now, I've seen the gloss 4d stuff on eBay. I got good results with the old carbon wrap so I might try the cheap gloss stuff. But black or carbon? Or grey carbon
  16. I can't decide what to do! I've got the old style carbon wrap in my gen 6 interior (door controls, vents, speedo surround, ash tray and arm rest) It's annoying me now though because its not gloss! So I'm trying to decide between - 4D gloss carbon wrap - plain black gloss vinyl (cars gloss black) - or just rip off and leave standard ????? Opinions needed :-)
  17. I've just had fitted a new clutch and low mileage gear box in my gen 6 25th anniversary, would this result in better performance? Or is it all in my mind? The car feels a lot faster and a lot smoother
  18. Not your problem anymore! Leave him to struggle lol plus you've covered your back!
  19. I'm getting mine done at some point and the garage said 20quid tops
  20. Mine only took a few hours, I did 2 on a saturday and 2 on the sunday I Just used 150 grit to rub them down then primed, painted and clear coated.
