    I'm going to do an oil change soon, and was wondering whats the better option to use to get the car up. Ramps or jack stands? Anyone got experience in using either of them and what they prefer?

    I have hit the 6500+ mark, was staying at 4000 in 6th gear, then I thought .. hold on .. I'm looking at about 10 miles of straight open road, so i put it into 5th and it only went to 5000, then 4th into about 5500 and then just put my foot down up to 8500 .. was brilliant!, now I know it all works =), was alot of fun, won't hesitate to do that again

    Okay next time I go on a national speed limit I will hit 6500+ revs, this better be fun & good lol, can't wait Thanks for all the info everyone If I knew about Celica-Club and saw these brilliant cars for sale I would haveb oughton of them without a doubt, But I had money and my one was going for £2500, I thought it was a bargain, has had all the services & stamped, loads of things replaced. and the insurance was only about £30-40 difference between 140&190

    I would love to go full power, but I am too on edge if I get caught, 6 points on mi license I'm screwed. I will eventually ... just when I can afford more points, I've only drove for a year and half

    Brilliant, cheers, I just googled it and saw a good tutorial on how to do it, all though I only go upto 3000 lol I like my car quite, if I don't go to 6500+ is it pointless changing them?

    You say you changed it to a facelift .. how do you go about doing this and how much does it cost? Or am I reading this wrong lol

    Yeah I did have a read about that, I've scratched the main part off, just need to get some headlight polish, but if it turns out a load of rubbish, i'll use the vinyl

    Me too, I drove hour & 1/2 to get there and find it's plastic :|, was not happy That' the reason i'm putting black gloss over mine, gonna sand paper it down to make it smooth first

    I have ordered a sheet of gloss vinyl to go over my plastic moonroof, is there anyone here who is fairly close to where I live, where I could come over and you work the magic? I have tried but failed miserably, I don't mind paying, it's for a GEN7 Celica. cheers Sorry if this is the wrong section, wasn't sure if this was worthy of a "modification thread"
