    how easy/hard was it changing the lock barrel on the car?

    once i have it in the garage and checking out if its the seals i may very well get on to you about them. from what i know when he trasnferred them over the injectors were fine; so hoping it may be the seals. can you hold 4 back for me until next weekend and ill get back to you?

    yeah, there were no injectors in the engine i got from nix so had to salvage the ones from my old one. how expensive are injectors? ive got some new seals on order from MrT should be with toyota in a couple days

    checked the dipstick, when wiped it off oil stinks of fuel. Not sure how long its been doing it and how much damage it has already done to the engine.....i think its gonna be a leaking injector but will have to see.....haven't got the cash or time to get it to a garage for about 2 weeks though another sign is, engines done 1k miles and oil is filthy black already which is apparrently a telltale sign?

    i hope you haven't done any major damage, as a preface owner i got in to the habit of regularly checking mine ever week and before long journeys. i think this isn't the first thread about a facelift engine burning oil though, if that is what it is doing. check the exhaust pipe, is it black and oily coloured?

    i joined after this happened and as a result didn't get to know Simon before he sadly passed, but it's clear what great person he was and what he brought to everybody's lives that he influenced. It must have been a truly terrible year and it takes a lot for you to come and post these messaes and i am glad that you are keeping his memory alive on here. I hope that i get the opportunity to meet you at one of the meets in the near future Gareth

    ill keep an eye out for him; i've also found out where the one who parks in Bootham Park (chilli red gen7) lives (not by stalking them! by driving past the car parked outside the house).
