  1. Do these allow a greater adjustment of the camber?

    My rear wheels have too much camber after coilovers, haven't tried adjusting camber using standard bolts though.

    yes, exactly my issue, too much camber so using these to adjust the camber - these are aftermarket bolts, not sure on the 7 but the 6 does not come with camber bolt adjustment as stock.

    Have these ;

  2. Hi, after fitting coilovers, ended up with too much negative camber. Finally after prob over a year got round to fitting some whiteline camber bolts.

    Fitted ok according to instructions, tab facing the wheel, lobe facing the strut. But in that position seem to make no difference.

    Guessing i am missing "the next step" ? Followed the instructions on them but not sure whats next.

    On the good size, nice easy install!

  3. bought mine in August 2011, remember seeing a gt4 gen 6 and loving it early in 2011, then saw a gt in lymington, then knew I really really wanted one ! Surprised then at how cheap they were, couldn't believe it ! If only I had the 1.5k then to get a gt4 rather than the 5k needed now !

    4 1/2 years later still love it , still jobs I haven't got round to doing. Spent far too much - it's had replaced;

    Doors

    Boot

    Bonnet

    Bumpers

    Seats

    Engine

    Gearbox

    Wheels

    Drive shafts

    Brakes

    So just the shell left lol :) and that had rust which I am sure will return to haunt me one day.

    Remember going to japfest , looking at all the cars thinking which one do I really prefer, then walking back to my car at the end of the day and thinking DEF the Celica!

    no plans on ever selling it, may end in a lockup somewhere at some point but would love to keep it till it (or I!) dies !

    Also done 31k miles, so just under 7k a year

  4. Often go out for a run :) no point having the car otherwise, shame about all the other cars on the road really !

    Straight out of my place and turn left, nice little 30 min there and back drive around some nsl twisty roads and a few straights, round a big roundabout and back again. With no traffic it's great fun :)

    Or down into Cardiff, up on to the dual carriage way that takes you over the south part of the city, can see the lights of the bay, through a nice tunnel and back again (usually via asda mind lol!) pretty cool at night.

  5. bought both ASH and ebay, tbh the hose connectors have been fine on the ebay, but not running mega boost (max 14-15 psi).

    But - get lipped alloy pipes (though i do run ok with no lipped, rather they were all lipped) and get good clamps! Crappy wormdrive ones have failed on several conditions blowing off hoses for me;

  6. was using a bleed type in the engine bay, then switched to a ball and spring (which should have for sale soon).

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TURBO-MANUAL-BOOST-CONTROLLER-NOT-A-BLEED-VALVE-/220537042109?hash=item33590834bd

    Difference betweent the two I found - Bleed Type had more consistent boost levels, ball and spring gave stronger boost response.

    Recently picked this up from the bay and just trying it out so will report back - twin manual boost ocntroller with in cabin switch to flick betweent the two (so one stock, one high for example) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GFB-GFB3002-Reactor-Dual-Stage-Boost-Controller-Universal-Fittmen-NOT-HKS-BLITZ-/181876979660?nma=true&si=VcntnBdWvUHHigQ4YEIyhPe5h4k%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

    Hoping it works as for £30 seemed a pretty good deal :) My boost gauge has gone funny so waiting on a greddy to be delivered and then can check boost levels, so just running my messed up low stock boost at the moment.

  7. Sounds right to me.

    I only have one outer lamp, it's got all it's tags on it but has the electric height adjustment on it rather than a manual one. Should be usable. Yours if you want it.

    The lamp housings can be removed as they're held on by 6 screws so the next challenge (should you choose to accept it) is making up the housing for the H4 bulb so it can fit into the headlight unit. They're usually held in with a spring clip of some description.

    if that's cool, I will, can practice with it, be easier out of the car :) I actually have no height adjustment on mine, lowly SSI, but can't see that as an issue. Will let you know when down in southampton next and can pop over :)

    Ok, better start amassing a few bits. Quite keen to get this working now, not for MOT, just to do it :) sure others have, but like to solve it on mine

  8. guessing here - will look on the wiring diagrams tonight

    for high beams, power and earth, and a 2 plug connector.

    for low beams, power and earth, and a 2 plug connector.

    Idea would be tow create some kind of adaption harness so can unplug and not mess up wiring ?

    So plug for high beams, and plug for low beams, 4 wires coming out.

    combine the two earths so left with three wires, power for high, power for low, one earth.

    Wire these into the H4 plug connector.

    Stage two fitting the H4 plug.

    utilising something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1Pair-30CM-HB4-9006-HB4-Wiring-Harness-Extension-Wires-fr-Xenon-Bulb-EVHG-/151740921795?hash=item235476b7c3

    or something like http://www.ebay.com/itm/181648949625?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true

  9. cheer buddy :)

    So.....

    It would be a case of H4 bulbs, pluuging them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/290729774870?adgroupid=&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80or nicked from another car, then rewiring the light circuit somewhat to run both power cables to the same bulb.

    And somehow getting them to fit in the same way as exisiting so light pattern is exactly the same.
