  1. Fitted new dials today, BIG thanks to Mook and Diablo, a really great job between the two of them.Highly recommended if you'r looking for custom dials, gives me a big, big smile I've taken pic's, not the best, but gives you an idea. They look 100 times better with the naked eye. Thanks again gents you're the Top's.
  2. Because you put up Torques first i quessed you fancied them best ha ha, are they also gunmetal grey? the colour suits a silver car IMO. GTR's more aggressive, if thats the look your after. Grid's slightly less agrressive. Not that it'll help, but a pic of mine i had powder coated last year, crome going into black, on the original wheels, looks different every day depending on how the light hits them, not exactly gunmetal grey, but i like the affect. Best of luck, it's your choice really, individuality is the name of the game, Cheers Chris. P.S. I've had the calipers painted black since that pic, and as you've guessed they are on a Gen 7- Silver by the way.
  3. Do the Grid's have hollow spokes ?

  15. Hi all, Just stopped to fill up at my local petrol station, glanced across and a P reg Celica in dark red was being filled up by an elderly gent, the condition was immaculate, i mean not a scratch! He returned after paying and hadn't replaced his petrol cap, I ran over to point out his missing cap, I made a point of congratulating him on his beautiful car,( keep in mind he and his wife who was driving, are from the sticks, with a deep country accent) Their conversation went like this > W e've only had it for a couple of days, we mostly liked the colour really, what did you say it was called? Oh a Celica, bought it off an old boy in the village, felt sorry for him, he's 87 years old and cant see to drive anymore, we gave him a few quid for it 'cause it's only done 27,000 miles, we thought that wern't bad) The wife who must have been in her 70's told me ' It dont half speed if you put your foot down' Blees 'em I didn't find out what 'a few quid' was, i bet it was a steal! I had to leave, people behind me honking. I'm still smiling at their oblivious luck.
  16. I'm with Rizla and Rory, CONGRATS to all the people involved in running and keeping THE CLUB invaluable to loads of Members :bowdown:Good on yer Managment A 10th Birthday party is a great idea, It would give me a chance to meet up with a few of you. Lets go for it!
  17. For what it's worth, I'm on my 3rd week of using the higher octane petrol in my 140 G7, The first week i mixed it with a 1/4 tank of low octane, so i disregarded that, last week i was as empty as i could be, and filled up (about 95% better stuff) I must add this was from a Total garage, £1.41 a lt. Idont know if its just me but the car seems to run smoother and better on the uptake, Ihave no figures to show more miles per lt, but i filled up aday later this week!? or is it just me, i know not. For a few quid extra i have a cleaner engine (so they say) and the driving experience is for me enhanced, Happy hope this helps.

  19. Hi Matt, I've had a look on a Japanese symbol site and come up with these,I'm sure your right about the 1st & 2nd parts,The broken red 5 along with the white 7 means Love, The square white box means Peace, The square white box with cross on top means Strength,Energy,Eternity, The last symbol means Respect,Paradise. Hope this helps, you can check if you Google Japanese Symbols,Lots of info there,Good luck
  20. Sorry Tabb, Great car btw, go with black if you like understated, go with a bright colour if you like to be noticed.
  21. I have a silver Gen 7, had my wheels and calipers done by Wheel Genie, crome going into black wheels, Ifancied burnt orange calipers, but was talked out of that by the guy who was doing the job, he advised me to have black, i went with that, and dont get me wrong i'm ok with the end results, looks quite sexy, but i still hanker for burnt orange. One day!
