  1. As i dont smoke and nobody else does in my Celica this kinda made the ash tray a bit redundant. As i been lookin for a place for a while to stick my speed camera detector i decided to remove the ash tray and cut the back out of the compartment and hard wire it there... and it fits just nice. this little gadget has saved me a few times when driving in an unknown area. any way, engine start button next i think.
  2. Once had a bit of do with an Rs Focus when I was out on my 1200 Bandit, that baby could shift and held the road really well... Was a run ride,
  3. That's a gud milage buddy, good luck with it.
  4. Just got 13 months mot in my sweaty palm as she passed the test with no advisorys. Them tricky little Japanease sure do know how to knock a good motor together, 115000 mls and still on the original running gear, Gotta say the blitz zorst sounded real nice, don't get much chance to hear it from the outside, Anyways, she's passed so an extra pint down the boozer tnight.
  5. Nice 1 , mines due in a months time so gonna push it through next week so if any repairs need doing it gives me time to do em, will let the garage know that I do all my own repaires so hopefuly I will get a fair shake ... Hopefuly,
  6. Funny you should post up this as I tried to repair a chip with a kit very similar to the third kit on your list and to be honest it failed miserably, it just didn't inject the resin into the crack Be interesting to see if any bod has had more luck with their kit than me..
  7. Thx but I'm happy with the 190 badge now m8.
  8. Will do m8, I'm off down the boozer now so will pm u first thing tomoz.
  9. All sorted, from Tsport to 190, mind you the badge looks good from Mr Toyota for less than a fiver, thx Planc for the code, spot on.
  10. Happy Anniversary Trebor4460!

  11. Vvti190 would be great thx, nice 1
  12. Thx Planc, yep the one above is a Copy that was being sold over at Celica.org in the States, to be honest I ain't sure Mr T actualy made one but if they did a price would be great thanks.
  13. My own fault really for not doing my research properly when buying but hey, i lost leather seats for imitation leather at the back, and t,sport logos on the front leather but i gained a sunroof, would love a VVTL-I badge, with the L in red, looks real nice, but real hard to get hold of, tried Ebay but all that is on there is the VVTI badges,
  14. Hi guys, After a bit of research I have found out that my t-sport badged Celica is not in fact a ts but is a vvti-190. I want to badge it correctly so off comes the ts badge and on will go a VVTI-190 one, My question is apart from Mr T does anybody know where I can source one from? Cheers for any suggestions.
  15. There's no law that says you can't use a free flowing zorst or one that's noisier, if there was the performance/ after market traders would be dead in the water. It's up to the cops discretion if its too loud or not, but don't think there is a decibel limit, maybe wrong on that. Don't know where he got his little laminate sheet from but at worst it's a crock of shite, at best he's misinterpreting it.
  16. after getting it sprayed you could always fit one of them protective bonnet clear film kits.
  17. Have a look at the Powerflow web site, you will see all the tail pipes ect they have, they will make you a custom stainless system to your specs and it will fall into your price bracket.
  18. nothing special compared to some of the fantastic Celicas on here but shes had a few mods, Blitz Nurspec zorst, brace bar, Typhoon induction kit, short shifter, alloy gear knob, brakes are next on the agenda, but have to spread what bit of spare cash i got to modding my Suzuki Bandit too
  19. My Tsport has 115000 on the clock and she runs like a dream, I've had a lot of motors in my time but can honestly say my 10 year old Celica beats em all hands down. It keeps up with a lot of the newer performance motors and handles really well on stock 10 year old suspension, and last but not least she looks a peach, and turns heads, o yeh, and I've done a few mods and plan to do a fair few more.
  20. If you don't want to get fleeced by these garages who are only interested in taking as much of your hard earned off you as they can, I.m.o. Then get your car booked into a govenment mot test centre that's open to the public too, these have no vested interest in failing your car as they dont repair, they will give you a thorough but fair test so if your motors ok you should sail through. The only downside is you will pay the full wack for the mot.
