    Happy Anniversary YJ52!

  5. definately Nattys is good but I prefer Dodo juice wax (Blue Velvet) after Poorboys black hole glaze - neither that cheap but both smell amazing and last ages.
  6. Thanks guys. I do use it sometimes in winter also to demist faster, so its on the list to be done soon. MOT/service and Tax due next month  - might aswell go all out and get regas same time I guess.
  7. Since I've had my current 7 i can't really remember the A/C being that cold. TBH I don't like it on much but when I do switch it on I'd like it to be icy like my old 7! How much should I be looking to pay for a regas?
  8. current 7, 2 years 2 months - this ones staying till it dies!! previous 7 nearly 5 years - very, very reluctant sale would have kept that one till it died if life hadn't interferred with that plan  first celica was a 5 kept for a year........still regret selling it.............even with its blue interior would love a 6 to keep the 7 company!! But best be sensible I suppose! Every other car I've owned less than a year each, none being Toyotas I will add
  9. Not sure about on tyres but I know they didn't give us discount on Apex as I rang and ask them when I bought mine last year. Give them a ring and enquiry, you never know if you don't try!
  10. My thoughts exactly!! You obviously have much better taste!
  11. definitely in agreement - they do look good
  12. Happy Anniversary YJ52!

  13. Definitely nice beading with a little coat of Dodo Juice; Blue Velvet is a favorite of mine. Not cheap but lasts ages and smells gorgeous!
  14. oops sorry Dawn I had a quick look ......obviously too quick a look!!
  15. Anyone else had a new red V5C? Bit surprised when I open my post this evening. Ok actually it is red and pink!! :-/
  16. lol hmm...... don't give me ideas!!!
  17. Lol nothing wrong with that at all imo. Last time I washed my Celica in the dark was last Friday eveing although it was not dark when I started it but certainly was by the time I'd given it a lil wax with Dodo juice!! Did have to do a little inspection in the morning tbh to make sure there were no lil bits missed. But all good. Still clean and shiny now in fact and its rained on and off for past 2 days. even my Dad commented tonight on how shiny and nice it looked with its lil beads of water!! So yep OCD maybe, but I do love a shiny clean Celica!!! You carry on Shep! Ps Thanks to Matt back ones are in and looking good! Fronts still sat in my front room at moment, but they match with my sofa very well indeed!!
  18. Hmm and I'm jealous!!! Very nice. But what seats did you have in before?
  19. Sorry guys have to agree with Cait and LiamGTR - really not a good look for G7 imo
  20. OMG I soooo have this! I'm on my 3rd Celica - no other car has given me the same satisfaction! And I'm glad there is NO cure
  21. Fuck no gets my vote too, but unfortunately the previous owner did .......ugh and used the ashtray. Had to take out the centre console the other day as a clip was not in correctly (ok this took me a year to get round to doing! Oh actually I did'nt do it gen7nnb did it for me! ) but it was full of ash under there, yuck I had to get the hoover on it! AND there are 2 tiny burns in the gear stick surround - umm not impressed! Strangely but thankfully though the roof lining, seats etc are all fine. glad I'm not the only one who also bans food in the Celi! Tiny stones off bottom of shoes bad enough but crumbs etc a big no no!
  22. aw you tried - thanks anyway! Thanks Cait, I'll take a look Thanks I'm recognising the name Team Dynamics and yes completely know where you are coming from regarding the issue with lacquer and moisture! When I had these on my 'W' Gen 7 the spare in the boot got a bit damp, did'nt realise for a while had affected it but I used to get a little "pond issue" in the wheel compartment - not such good fit on the boot seal me thinks, anyway solved it by punching a hole in the rubber bung in the floor of wheel compartment so it could drain itself out (yeah quick fix I know) but unfortunately not before damage was done to the spare! Oh well live and learn; check for water in the boot on a regular basis: None so far on present Gen7. Anyway back to the wheels thanks for your comments.
  23. Just wondered if any of you guys might be able to tell me what these wheels are please? 17's. I had them on my first Gen7 and realllly like them . They are actually a 2 tone - with grey on the inside of the 'spokes' - sorry pics bit crap to see that detail. Only ever seen them on one other Gen 7 and I'd like to start searching for a set of 5 for my current Gen7. Thanx
  24. Yay! Year ago today I got my Gen7! coincidentally the same day in 2005 I picked up my first Gen 7 which I sadly let go on 24 April 09:-( .......ummm rarely remember birthdays but never forget these dates!
