  1. Sounds like a cockwad to me! I had the same thing with some wheels before. Sent them up as 2nd hand, the dude was expecting them NEW (even though my listing said they were on my car for just a week) and he wanted a return as they were dirty! Effin dirty! So sod him. He pays a return charge and you update your ad to sell again. Someone will have them; T-Sport wheels look tasty on a range of cars. Unfortunately this time around you've sold to a donkey!
  2. I've been to a variety over the last 18 months and it's been awesome. Always a laugh and it's good meeting new folk. Any weekend in August at the moment - will need to check my on-call rota in July to see if itll clash with any weekends. oaksey, can you set up an 'official' meeting post in the Meetings forum? We can gain interest while you wait to hear from landlords in Cambs for a location
  3. As above I am more than happy to come along whenever a Cambridge meet is arranged Pubs are always a good idea. Backup in case the weather turns sour and also a way to move on when it gets dark later into the evening
  4. I'm 28ish miles south of Cambs so I consider it 'local' - happy to come to any meets you guys arrange in the future
  5. Nice, hopefully that'll do the trick for you. I've got some Apex springs arriving tomorrow. Had them on my 140 and they were awesome Best mod for £100
  6. Thanks guys. In terms of "speaking of the devil", the bolt arrived today from FreakyParts. Took a while but it got here I've thread-locked it onto my 27mm spacer, so these will be going on when I lower it on Saturday.
  7. Yeah I saw TMOUSSE's pain he got from attempting to fit longer studs with Fensport studs. I followed nthnmunky's advice and bought some H&R ones which I will be getting again next month and fitting myself. It took my garage about an hour to fit, so it'll probably take me all day
  8. Cheers buddy. I think the smallest bolt on spacer you can get would be the 27mm ones he does - so a 20mm spacer may have to be a longer-stud jobby. I know when I bought my 15mm's they used longer bolts, but the guy fitting them didn't have any issues (they weren't Fensport studs nor a FreakyParts spacer so I'm not 100% sure)
  9. I'll check around my town for a fasteners if the engineer's don't want to be my friends Hopefully FreakyParts will reply soon enough. He's got my £2 and I'm bolt-less lol No problem dude Some spacers have a 'complete' bolt, however these ones are just the thread bit.
  10. Thanks, I've PM'ed him Ah I didn't think of that. There is an engineering place nearby, so if I don't have one by Friday I'll pop in and see if they can knock one up. Unfortunately it's not a full stud. It's only the 'thread' bit of the stud - so there's no "head" bit to it, just the screwy bit - if that makes sense? Additionally it's a non-OEM part (built by FreakyParts) - not sold by Toyota directly so I doubt they'd sell it on the shelf nor would they be able to source one for me. The Mr T near me is a bit naff and any amount of effort required on their part beyond punching a number into their database means they won't do it.
  11. 5-bolt hub but I only have 4 threads! Where can I buy the fifth one? I bought the spacers from FreakyParts ages ago, and a bolt was lost when removing them from my 140. I PM'ed FreakyP and bought another bolt from him over two weeks ago but it never arrived. I PM'ed Freaky on Saturday to chase it but I've not got a reply yet. I would like to install the spacers on Saturday while I'm lowering my car thus the enquiry of purchasing somewhere else outside of FreakyParts. The bolt length is around 48mm and needs a 19mm socket to remove the required nut. I'm not sure what 'm' size the bolt/thread is from this. Any ideas?
  12. I've just got lift so at the moment I'm driving it like a complete banana Although it's just got a CEL so I've probably already broken it.
  13. They are around £50, so with a 10% discount and free P&P that comes to £45. 1. shaungtr 2. insolentminx 3. dr3bin 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. I'm down for one
  14. Lets make another thread to gain interest then another thread for the group buy
  15. Got the naughty ones on speed dial!
  16. I wanted my own thread to feel special
  17. I never worry about other people's reviews on Amazon. One guy said he never received it (so rated it down instead of getting in touch with the seller...) and the other chap has a huge 4x4 and probably got a size too small lol (he mentions there's "not enough cord" and "barely fits" etc). Let's wait for Shauns review and go from there. No pressure Shaun
  18. Nice one, thanks I'll order one tonight and give my car a good scrubbing over the next few days until it arrives.
  19. Yeah I was thinking a "large" may be better. Although we're low, we're quite long (in comparison to a "Small" car, like a Mini or Fiat 500) Stupid wildlife.
  20. Right after looking at my car today I'm gonna invest in one of those covers that shaungtr has ordered. I've got bird crap, tons of gay petals littered all over my motor and because it rained I've got weird watery residue / marks all over my car. Disgusting. I'd have to wash it everyday lol I've solved one problem (vandalism) but side-stepped into another (general everyday dirtyness)
  21. As much as I'd like to take the tree down, it actually leans over from inside this guys garden lol. A bird of bird poop everyday is better than getting keyed or eggs thrown at my car
  22. My dad gave me some 'bird lime' remover so I'll use that on an 'as needed' basis instead of getting a cover. Thanks guys
  23. Hey dudes, Recently moved my car off the street to a dedicated space at once of my neighbours due to the damage my car has been receiving over te last 6 months. Problem now is its under a tree and gets splattered with bird crap! Does anyone use car covers for a daily driven car? Meaning it'd only be covered overnight. Alternatively, what's a good quick detailer to use to get rid of bird crap? Thanks guys.
  24. Damn, nasty bash mate. Glad to hear you're okay in yourself. Shame about your 6 though Stupid white van drivers!
