Thanx m8
No she didn't do it, I think she got in touch with an artist who was farely local through Facebook and she gave him a pic of my car and he came up with this. She's getting a frame for it and it'll take pride on my wall for many many years now lol
... or until your next body mod in which case you'll be needing a new drawing done
looks good.
-
nice drawing!
I was actually wondering about these kinda images the other day... did she do it herself?
-
i like that...
-
Make sure you lick the connection to make sure it's got an active current going through it before you fit them
this works on a multitude of things, not limited to electrics and including people.
-
you didn't have the sidelights on while you were fitting them did you?
-
i'm sure you'll have fun
-
wow, gonna go all 'detail crazy' Jason?
-
surely with 17" wheels you'd be just as low, as you compensate for the extra inch with a taller tyre to keep the same rolling radius...... ?
-
Rich, no more of these pictures please. Just brought my afternoon tea up.
-
And totally ruin any handling capability the Celica once had
but if you're wanting to go that low, you'll lose the handling anyway... at least with bags you can raise it up to get over the speedbumps
-
our roads are nowhere near as flat and bump-free as the US roads... so I'd say pic #1.
You could always get airbags and then you can drop it and raise it as you see fit...
-
you should have received a letter which will tell you the 6 month and 12 month prices. no?
I think it's a little over half. Can't quite remember though.
And sadly it's no longer "road tax", it's "car tax", as none of the money actually goes towards the upkeep of the roads...

i just imagine it'll ber very hard to get it completely flat if putting all that filler on to fill stonechips.
-
bonnet will probably have lots of stonechips... so prob a pain in the arse to fill them all to get it perfectly flat, especially for such a large surface area.
-
remove bonnet and place against a wall
pour lots paintstripper into bucket
stand facing bonnet
hold bucket firmly
swing bucket back with the open end facing the bonnet
swing bucket forward rapidly in the direction of the bonnet
keep hold of bucket
jump backwards as liquid exits bucket
admire handiwork
i dunno.
maybe you could look into acid dipping... that'd strip it completely back to bare metal.
-
throw paint stripper over it

they where further down the road I seen them after i saw the police, which is why i could have gotten a telling off instead of being stupid and getting 3 points and a fine.
pain in the arse.
there's a few national roads near me which have been dropped to 40... bloody annoying as they're wide open, pretty much straight, and no residential areas nearby annoyingly there's loads of repeaters tho, so no excuse :(
-
did you not see the 50mph speed limit repeater signs?
-
i been pulled ... brace yourselves ... for going too slow!!! i was lost trying to figure road names out ended up doing a breath test, and had to sit in his car like while they searched mine lol...
you maniac.
-
pah, stupid! they can't do anything if the car's parked. maybe you're waiting for a new tyre to arrive, and then you'll book a mobile fitter to replace it.
what a jobsworth
-
fortunately I've never been pulled over or had any attention from the cops yet. *touch wood*
I can understand modified cars attracting attention, both good and bad though. I guess if you're doing something wrong then you kinda have to expect it, and just hope that your excuse will be understood by the copper. Most of them I've met have been pretty decent enough, but it does only take a long tough shift (or consecutive shifts) to turn even the nicest person into a bit of an asshole.
I've had a few cars acting like bellends trying to race me, but never obliged them.

is that to stop the youngun falling into the fireplace at Christmas?
-
it doesn't buzz, it just puts a red warning light on your dashboard.
-
A vacuum cleaner which happened to be hiding something much more sinister
an airborne spore-based virus?
nice Sparco seats!
