My local evening rag stated that a local road was blocked due to a car being put on its roof. A celica driven by a 37 yr old chap - so poss not a boy racer. No pics to go on so dunno what age celica it was but its still one less on the road. Sad i know. Rad

The last 3 cars I've had supped a fair bit of oil (1st Nissan sunny - but it did have 150k on the clock and a slight leak from the block, 2nd a Corsa - a litre every 1k miles - that's Vauxhall for you!!, and now Celica Pre-face uses about a litre every 3K miles which I think is about right - hopefully!!)

Yep I got mine off him about 3 months ago. Think it was about £15 delivered. I'm very pleased with it and I also got a new gaiter off ebay to make it all look tip-top. Rad

Exactly - I bought my 17" Enzo 5 spokes (see my avatar pic) - with tyres for £300 on Ebay, they were fitted to a Gen7 Celica for 3 months so were 'as new'. Don't get ripped off, the only way we should be ripped off in this country is by Mr T (last resort) and the taxman, you can avoid Mr T but not the taxman!! Try Ebay or the wanted section on here, people are always getting shot off older alloys so you should be able to pick up some centre caps no bother. Cheers Rad

Try racing dynamics, they maybe produced them. There's been some threads on here about them. Some using razor blades then wet'n'dry (various grades) finishing with plastic polish. Rad

I'm sure I'll be back in Yorkshire sometime. I usually take the kids to different parts of the UK for a week, just depends were we fancy going, last time it was Shropshire (Shrewsbury) but just before I became a Celica owner and CCUK member so didn't take a lot of notice about Celica's Rad

That's ok, We didn't have the room in the Celica for 4 of us plus luggage plus everything we bought. Geez the Mondeo was full to the gunnels as it was - with bags etc!! and that's massive. Rad

Still enjoyed it 'down' your neck of the woods (for me in Cumbria). The A1(M) is in a dire state at the mo - 50mph average speed cams everywhere!! - so decided to go towards Northallerton before getting on it to get to Scotch Corner. Rad

I'll show you 'stalked' if I can time it right (maybe this coming Monday) I play 5-a-side footy on a Monday night at the local Sportscentre and use Morrisons next door to park in. There can be 5 Gen7's within 25 parking bays at the same time - none of which (except me) are CCUK members. I'll try and get a shot on my mobile if poss. Rad

Do many people use 225's on 17" rims as I thought about sticking them on next time I need tyres - only problem I can think of is being a lot shitter in ice/snow. Rad

Spent a lovely week in and around York (Fri 15th to Fri 22nd) with wife and kids!! pissed down for 5 days. One thing I did notice was a severe lack of Celica's, any I did see didn't have any club stickers visible. Do we have any members from York. I stayed near Stamford Bridge just off the Bridlington road about 8 miles outside York, even went to 'The Deep' at Hull and saw absolutely f**k-all in the way of Celica's. Do I smell or something????? Was using the wife's Mondeo all week so that was fun!!!! Rad
