  1. get a space saver and then buy a yaris plastic bung that makes like a support for the boot stops it from sagging. only saw this the other day have ordered mine to stop my boot from the same.
  2. used toad and clifford, i now use parts off cliffords range along with other companies and the main alarm is from south africa, saves a bundle, has auto start with alarm still secure, runs for 10 minutes then shuts down has run on as well so if i turbo i can let it cool down, auto locking after engage first gear, very sensitive, which is what i like so no bugger goes near it for long as alarm sounds, can be programmed to do more which is good in the ever changing market. give me a PM and will forward details, company local to you with a very good rep fitted it who is also a good mate.
  3. will be out and about tomorrow night if your maidstone way.
  4. seen this done before, was not sure of it but having never seen it in the flesh i cant say if i like it or not, will make the car look lower for one, long as the body shop compounds the whole car so its all cleaned up it would look to clean if just the black polished up.
  5. i fly in and around maidstone, in the process of doing my plastics inside, satin black with a purple flick with the dash flocked black and the other plastics a dark purple, engine built and run in, under body of car all powder coated and changed/replaced, hifi fitted but changing again, and waiting on new seats to arrive. think only thing that remains when done will be carpet but even that is getting re cut this year, every panel was cleaned and then painted where it had ten years of use so its pretty much new, got a facelift bumper waiting to be sprayed and then fold in wing mirrors stripped ready to paint and then fit. thats about it, currently car has no interior panels or rear seats or boot all out at body shop. if you need any help drop me a pm, always about and dont mind helping people.
  6. changing down in profile will also bugger up speedo i thought, rolling distance is changed. i have yokohama's on S drives already used the front 2 had to replace after 6 weeks, so soft but a great gripping tyre. not good for my track day sessions last month.
  7. if you have got that far you may as well carry on, mine where sent complete they stripped and re built with all new bits, and yes it was the polymer coating as it lasts longer.
  8. big red charged me £330 for all four including shipping back, cannot fault the work and the brake feel is way better, must of needed a good service, now all as new, so should hold up for a good while now.
  9. It will soon sell, dont let it go for under the value, a good honest buyer will be found somebody who will happily pay the going price instead of trying to get it cheaper. think with your head not with your quick fix in wallet.
  10. i can sell on the wind deflectors to another member before they are even shipped to you if you wanted, that way you will save on postage so they go straight from me when they arrive, i could then forward refund on to you, once other member has paid me if you wanted. that way you get 100% back. had plenty of people asking if i had any extras.
  11. sorry but your been told porkies, i have replaced every nut bolt washer under the car including the camber bolts along with bushes and everything else, for all the bolts that hold everything together they cost me £360 from Mr T's so the £700 you were quoted just for doing the geo is way off. if you need any part numbers or codes let me know i have every receipt in a file.
  12. replaced with space saver and a can of tyre weld, slight adjustment needed with how to keep space saver in place as the celica screw thing was way to long but a yaris one is much shorter and works a treat. saves on a load of weight as a full size spare was 3 times the weight. oh and a thanks yet again to AMS for supply of the space saver top work.
  13. clutch from any parts place will cost you £80 to £150. Labour from any independant garage will cost you around £150 to £200 the lower prices are if you pay cash, i had mine done 3 weeks ago paid £86 for clutch as i get a good discount from my supplier and then the fitting cost me £175 at a mates garage, as it was a saturday and he was busy. just helping with prices to quote, sorry to hear it happened to you.
  14. hope this come up cant work out how to load up images again for some reason, they are not all coloured just stainless steal so they will not rust or what not. simple clean look but long lasting. and stronger than the pro bolt Allan headed bike stuff.
  15. I'm currently changing all my bolts under the hood, so far all rocker cover, wing bolts and every possible bolt has been changed for stainless steel allan key headed they won't rust and look really good will get pictures up later today as they do look good, not done the plastic covers as yet as they are currently off whilst I have them re coloured. I could get a kit together if enough interest which will help people with doing this, loads more changed than I thought was possible, cost me so far £28 which I thought was fair.
  16. i had rear, small sides in 70% dark and fronts in slight tint done and spent £110 cash. took him 3 hours I pop into gravesend for petrol as the shell garage on roundabout is bloody cheap, was in rainham for a bit but now moved further out.
  17. Must have seen you about that way, he is from chatham and can work out of a couple of places, if you say you spoke ot me he will give you a better price, name is darren, 07920 130373 really nice bloke does a bloody good job now had 5 cars done by him.
  18. Where are you in Kent got a number if its maidstone area
  19. Look for either focal comps or Boston acoustics both speakers have a load of 6.5 components to suit all budgets but look at spending £100 per set for a worthwhile sound quality. Will also need amp them to get full benifit from any speakers.
  20. Gunk engine spray, but cover over fuse boards with plastic bags along with air box don't run engine whilst doing it, but warm it up before you spray as it makes it easy to pull off the grease. Then wash away careful with pressure wash then leave to sit for half hour before starting up again. Takes all dirt off in a flash. Once you have wiped down spray with auto glm vinyl and rubber and go for a drive. Looks so shiny after.
  21. Why not look at a slim line box they fit a treat into the plastic boot tray, I got a Rockford fosgate 8 inch never moves amps are under seat as they don't need any space, other option is better components in front and rear quarters will give the feeling of more bass is tuned right.
  22. DO NOT USE NAIL VARNISH REMOVER! I have some plastic cleaner used for double glazing maybe work not as corrosive to plastics panel wipe also good.
  23. i sent mine straight to diablo7772 as he does this as a side line, less hassle for me as i am crap at soldering and skewer sent the template straight to him. worth a shout for both of the work they do as its faultless skewers design from what i asked him to do for me.
