  1. Toyota are focusing too much on Hybrid save the planet cars now, its depressing looking at there new range of cars
  2. Yeah I meant when/if you start selling sorry lol.
  3. Cheers guys, Cars all done, Trip to Daves was a great trip, we couldnt have asked for better weather to work on a car that day Big update to come shortly. just need some decent pics for yous all lol
  4. I know our Celica's arnt the most expensive car on the road, nor are they the fastest and I would have a Skyline R33 over my Celica anyday but I love my Celica. The Celica is my first Toyota, I've previously had... (i may lose whatever respect members have for me here but here goes lol) Rover 214 Nissan Almera Pugeot 206 Renault Clio But Since owning my Celica I've noticed I've built up more of a respect not only for every other Celica owner but every other Toyota owner in general. My Celica is still in its early stages of being modded and making it my own, to help it stand out, but I always like seeing other Celicas about, I have a Gen 7 and I know those Gen 6 owners love to diss us at any given opportunity lol... but when I say another Celica I mean all Generations. I've been complimented by many people since owning my Celica last august and this was something I wasnt expecting, From mates, lads at work to the guys at the hand wash i go too. I've never really came across anyone who's had a bad thing to say about my car! My mam thinks I'll not want a Skyline anymore, she says the celica is much nicer, but I willa lways want a Skyline R33! now I'm quite the curteous driver and understand why ppl by the cars they have, but I cant help but think that every other toyota Driver has bought themself a good car there, just because its a Toyota. And they usually get extra respect from me on the road lol. Is it just me or did/does anyone feel the same, having more respect for the toyota name and not just the Celica. Some of you may have experienced Toyota in different vehicles but so far my experiences has been my friends Yaris when I was 17 and the Celica I have now. I've got no reason to think toyotas Cars/engines arnt top quality and would always look at the Toyota cars first is I were to get another car. Infact I dont want my girlfriend to get a new Fiesta as her first car I am trying to get her to get a Yaris lol. Just to keep Mr T in the family lol.
  5. yeah this was the one on newcastle road in sunderland. This was about 2 months ago when I spoke to them tho mate, I cant remember who it was a spoke to sorry.
  6. Yeah thats what I was thinking. Once I've been to Daves tomorrow I cannot put anymroe money into my car for a good few months, I have to get my spending money together for my holidays in July!
  7. haha, good morning Angus Is there a tried and tested antibiotic for Celicaitis? lol
  8. the guy on the phone told me 35mm buit he couldnt tell me if they were genuine toyota ones or not lol. Think I'll stick to our Sticky Thread Here! about Lowering springs rather than dealing with Mr T!

  12. Daves just been in touch to confirm address All is good and yep, plenty of Tunes at the ready for my journey lol Next thursday I have to drive to Wales for a customer meeting! but I'm taking the company car (VW Passatt)for that drive lol.
  13. haha nah, Already measured it up and I have a few inches still to the ground oince the lip is fitted. but you know what Shields is like mate for Speed Bumps... Specially Ashley rd! my mates just moved there, that has to be THE worst road in shields for bumps!
  14. Hi Cait, Yeah we have spoke on the phone couple days ago, He's aware of my epic journey & was asking to confirm my Paint Code (202) He's more than aware of my visit believe me lol, between me and dave this has been a long time coming. I originally ordered Side skirts off him in November 2010, and after some time I got the skirts, then after speaking to many garages where i live to paint/fit them, the prices were stupid and I didnt trust them to do a good job. Dave then rang me and reccomended I come to his and he'll paint/fit them for me. Since then He's also made me a Greddy front lip. So at Daves I now how a new set of Skirts ( I'm taking the original ones I recieved back down ) and a greddy front lip. All ready and they just need fitting, Approx 2-3 hours work. At the same time I know there has been alot for Dave to work on restoring faith of REWORX on here to some members, so I want to take this opportunity to meet the guy in person, having had many phone calls with him, I'm more than aware what ups and downs a business such as Daves can encounter, Dates & arrangements will always change due to life outside of the working unit. But also a business which gets work through Forums can also be stressfull. As sometimes on forums ppl only see corp members like RWORX as just another user, and not the person behind the keyboard! All this makes my (5 and a half hour) jounrey 'easier' not only the excitment of the parts being fitted and transforming my car but to see Dave do what he does best. We all know the quality of Daves work but to see him work on it first hand will be a good experience for me. I'll be sure to speak to Dave b4 Friday, and confirm the address though lol. no worries lol. I wdont think I'll be lowering my car anytime soon, as I'm still on the original 16's... The greddy lip will be low enough on those until i get 17/18 inch alloys.... whenever I can afford them lol
  15. Thanks, Noted that address down. I do know Daves recently moved into a bigger unit. hopefully this will be the correct one lol
  16. Its 300 miles. Give or take a few miles depending on where in the essex area REWORX is. Must get Daves Post code off him soon lol
  17. Sure mate, Speak to Dave and see if he will have it done for saturday, then i can bring it back, what you buying?
  18. haha, I'm going in my Celica not the mini bus. Yup will be taking some pics, before, during and after. We all love a pic or two on here, even if its TRD sides fitted which we all know what they look like lol. but good to see progress on members cars mostly
  19. OK people. I'm rather excited about this, I'm going down to Daves 'REWORX' This Saturday 16th April. To get my Greddy Front & TRD Sides Fitted. This is a mission of a drive but I do this alot anyways because of my Djing. I live in Newcastle Upton Tyne & Will probably be taking the the A1 down to Essex where REWORX is based. Cait mentioned I should ask people fi they need anything taken down south. Bare in mind it must fit in my Celica (Seats down etc) I do not mind doing this as it will probably help the journey. So if anyone wants anything taken down south, I can pick up around the Newcastle area and surrounding area's and at locations en route to Daves. Specially if anyone has anything to send back to Daves. I can take this down for you. At the moment this post is just to see what intrest there is and if anyoen needs items delivered. the xtra ££ for ym services will be worked out later. Only Paid up Club members only. Cheers. Scott
  20. a group buy on these would be good! and even better from an established corp member ;-)... bit more peice of mind.
  21. I got all them texts about my injuries being worthy of 3 grand! just goes to show how insurers will hand out your mobile number! Please make sure your aware when taking out your hire car mate, My car was fixed in november after a van reveresed into it at work. My hire car issue is still not resolved and the third part insurer has been taken toc ourt for not paying up for my hire car. AND! the cheeky lawyer wants a bank statement off me to proove I cannot pay for the hire car... I gave him a mouth full of abuse telling him I was paying 250 pound a month insurance at the time and it woudlnt matter if i had 1 pound or 10 grand in the abnk i am not paying for ym hire car. The hire car charges on my forms were 126 pound for 2 weeks. But This did not apply to me as third party was to blame and took liability. But they hire car company are chargin them 900 quid for em having the car... and if I was the third part insurer I wouldnt want to pay either. I had alot of hasstle, phone bills and letters etc about my car after it was hit and ti stressed me out. I hope you have a speedy fix without half the hasstle I had. I will not be going thru the insurance again unless my car is split in two... for just a bump its not worth it. hopefully get ya car back on the rd as new soon
  22. Dotn forget the Gen 7 is a Coupé. all Coupes have bad visibility out the back, but thats just part of us having a sleek designed car ;-) you'll get used to the distance
