  1. Check this out. I think it is pure awesomeness! 1JZ Drag Celica on Speedhunters
  2. IVE GOT IT Its a Celica. That last clue was a bit easy
  3. Japanese Used car Auctions Friend of mine who trolls on Driftworks linked me this with some cool cars, they have a trader link on there. So my advice would be speak to the blokes on Driftworks as there actual importers from Japan on there. AFAIk the Yen is a bit wobbly at the moment, ive just bought an exhaust from Japan and it was quite a difference in price depending on exchange rate fluctuations Having not done the car importing myself, but only considered it, thats the best advice i can give. Oh, maybe give an importing company in the UK a call, you'll get the spiel of Yen is crap blah blah but ask the questions you need answered and im sure they'd be happy to help if they're nice
  4. doesnt look like the HKS intake looks like the cheap ebay one...and the Megan brace, well just need to look at Ian VVTi's thread to get an idea there
  5. That 2zz with the ITBs will get some mouths moving to the chorus of "its been talked about before and its not cost effective vs F/I" The 1zz Turbo.....*picks up jaw*
  6. offset fitment would be a win i reckon, wider, lower offset at the back would solve your problem. Expect to fork out big mullah for the wheels tho, unless you buy 2 at one size and fitment and 2 at another!
  7. He musta lived in SoCal too so his car didnt get f**ked by the road conditions here Back to shmotorsports question though, if your looking for low offset wheels looking for the big names not the remakes, as the big name ones usually have their wheels in every size option imaginable
  8. heheeh Dan, i know negative offset is the height off cool, and i would happily run it if not for kerbs and mr MOT man
  9. bear in mind that with the 27mm spacers all round you are now running "insert offset" SUBTRACT 27....so if you go for et48 wheels they end up being ET21 and so on. So if you go for wheels that are ET10 and keep the spacers you're looking at et -17 which is madness. I could be way off on this and I am also presuming you're gonna keep using the spacers which as a sensible person I doubt you would lol!
  10. guessing you just pop the drive shaft out the box and tie it up outta the way? I'd probs get it all pro fitted up anyway just to be safe
  11. As above at that price its probably worth while the risk just for the sake of it! This is bad news for my pocket, especially when my back box with cost about £650 alone...
  12. so perhaps the cheaper (even after postage) ceramic coated one would be the better option? Good to hear some good reviews about this lot, was expecting such a nasty report. Probably take it to a customer exhaust fabricators and get them to make me up a flanged decat/sport car system and mate it to the backbox i get (fujitsubo)....all in all shouldnt be more than £900-£1000 for the full system, should free up some horses!
  13. wicked, its a fair change from what ive seen in the past, could be very tempted! A similar manifold for my last car was more than twice that cost!
  14. Should just settle the problems the old fashioned way. Chinese Checkers, a game of Snap and a Bop-It Death match. Best 2 of 3 wins.
  15. came across this today Celica 140 Manifold No way is it A) that cheap B ) genuine.... tell me im seeing things, whats the catch? Edit: found a UK based one now.... Stainless exhaust mani
  16. FUUUUU theres alot of things i do on that list...
  17. snap thats a little much for me, i think Pentland Powdercoaters are roughly £40 a corner...
  18. yeah i like the sound of that meet, i need my wheels refurbed too, was going to go to pentland powder coaters but always up for supporting new business.
  19. Right people, this is probably a repost but i had to share my instant love for this car. I'll admit its a little sad, but im quite a fanboi for Monster Energized cars since Ken Blocks (especially that wrapped drift Escort mk2 and the Mustang) Then i saw this. Monster Celica
  20. YELLOW kinda cool tho! Photobucket or photoshop?
  21. I like the idea and look of HellaFlush and this in particular i like cos its a gen7 but i couldnt run like that in the UK, car would be undriveable. Australia has laws about how low the car can be.... The wheels look like Rays Engineering TRD ones to me....but i could be wrong
  22. I did the same as Kudos555 and its not too difficult to get them in and out. Pretty sure my Sparco ones specifically said do NOT mount to the seat belt buckle point in the rear :S Shame theres no safe kind of quick release thing for harness, would kinda defeat the purpose a bit
  23. Had my 3 points secured to the bracket that holds the rear seat belt reel in. Have a look in the G7 section mate, i think shmotorsport was asking similar questions, and i posted the link to someones how to install thread for Gen7 HTH
  24. rhd japan gave me s price of 735 ish delivered to my door for the fujitsubo power getter.....what do we think? Sumo Power got back to me saying they do that kind of thing all the time for Fujitsubo parts, so waiting to hear back on a price now
