  1. No brainer, keep the gen 7 for work and if you have spare cash and can afford to have the GT4 as a plaything then do it BUT if it going wrong anytime is going to cause you worry to be listening for any little thing when you are driving it then dont do it.

  2. Yep dubs I think you are right, Ultimately I need a few bits for it, new bonnet and passenger door as someone had dented it (previous owner) and respray or vynal wrap.

Generally the car body work is "ok" I bought based on the fact it had had a recent engine transplant but the body needs a tidy when money allows... Getting it keyed is the final straw now though. I'll see if I can get a touch up pen on it for now.

Any ideas where to get these parts without paying moon money?

It's storm blue (210) I think ! Are you both heading to Portsdown tomorrow ?

I wont be, lack of job at mo means limited funds :(

  3. This was what concerned me, owner has looked it up and it seems a few miles is ok but not any further. I'm just a bit concerned if it could cause damage

I read online if it was only for a few mikes it could be done with care

Ady i'm going to ask James in the morning when i see him, he does recovery and he'll know for certain. Dont want to risk further damage but if its ok to be one carefully then no prob

  4. battery off, handbrake off, make sure nothing left in there that could cause damp (even bottles of cleaning fluid etc) and pop one of those disposable dehumidifier thingies or a bowl with some bicarb of soda in there and that will absorb any moisture.

other than that no need to do anything else, tbh i wouldnt bother putting it up on axle stands for that short a time

but dont forget to leave the handbrake off  tis the biggest pain in the neck otherwise
