I'm not sure if winter tyre is really ideal since we don't have much winter here anyway... Maybe an all weather tyre will be good enough to do the job... To be honest my current tyre is crap... Sunny tyres, but I if you drive it within limits it's ok... The past 2 winters with worse snow. I managed to always get from A to B all the time with no issue... It's due for a change now though as it's done 2yrs but still plenty of thread... Will change my fronts with goodyear f1 then will save a bit for the rears soon... I also heard that winter tyres can be scary when wet...
Loads in ebay but as you have the gt wheels... You will need a flat surface unlike the 60degrees angle... So not sure about that, Mr T is the best option for a NEW SET OF LOCKING NUTS..

I think You can calibrate Your speedo with your satnav when You fitted Your 215/45/17 wheels or tyres... I find it hard to calibrate it at first but with patience and eagerness. It was Done after several attempts... 30 on speedo and 29 to 30 on satnav... almost perfect...
They also call it DRL- Day Running Light and usually applicable only In Canada and Iceland which is foggy most of the time compare to other EU countries. This DRL has been discuss as well and they also want to get rid of it as they says it also affects the vision of Motorist...
I was once confronted by Police when I left my fog lamps on while I was about to park, It was the first Time I put it on just to know If it was working and I was so lucky that a police car passed right that very moment. He stop and turn into the street where I was park because I need to open the gate. He told me that I shouldn't put the fog lamp and i could get a fine for that. I said sorry officer, my mistake then I put it off. He then let me go and that was it...
I find 215/45/17 the closest to the stock 205/50/16 Try to look on the tyre calculator to see How big is the diff..
