  1. Sorry about what happened to your pride and joy Mate...,,, Hope the fix will not cost much. Stupid wankers...
  2. I'm not sure if winter tyre is really ideal since we don't have much winter here anyway... Maybe an all weather tyre will be good enough to do the job... To be honest my current tyre is crap... Sunny tyres, but I if you drive it within limits it's ok... The past 2 winters with worse snow. I managed to always get from A to B all the time with no issue... It's due for a change now though as it's done 2yrs but still plenty of thread... Will change my fronts with goodyear f1 then will save a bit for the rears soon... I also heard that winter tyres can be scary when wet...
  3. your site is down Mate... not sure if you're aware of this...

  4. They call it Day Running Lights and there was already a debate about this if they will ban it or not... Still no outcomes thou...
  5. Loads in ebay but as you have the gt wheels... You will need a flat surface unlike the 60degrees angle... So not sure about that, Mr T is the best option for a NEW SET OF LOCKING NUTS..
  6. I always go for steel nuts as i'm not very confident with alloy nuts holding my wheels... The thread on alloy nuts can easily damage...
  7. Enjoyed watching this Vid... keep posting for more,,, They do like the celica but needs to be lowered... Will not handle well thou if lowered  And the eg6 being a 10yr old Car, all the carpet got rotten...,,, So he didn't cheat... :D

  11. It can be warm but very tolerable... As it sits next to the disc so defo. the heat will be transfer to the alloys...
  12. And if You go for groove, try to limit to 6 or less groove per side...

  14. Yeah but that was the Preface right, then they advice as to put more to avoid the death rattle. Facelift add an extra 1 liter I guess when they adjust the measurement of the dipstick...
  15. It was just loosen as there's not much to do underneath apart from the bottom engine...

  17. I think the best way to fill it up is when the oil is overflowing from the filling area. If you know what i mean...
  18. Here You go Mate... I did it my way though as I was struggling with this guide. http://www.celica.talktalk.net/
  19. I think You can calibrate Your speedo with your satnav when You fitted Your 215/45/17 wheels or tyres... I find it hard to calibrate it at first but with patience and eagerness. It was Done after several attempts... 30 on speedo and 29 to 30 on satnav... almost perfect...
  20. I see, so it is 205/45/17 closer... I went for 215 so alloys have extra protection once being hit at pavement...
  21. They also call it DRL- Day Running Light and usually applicable only In Canada and Iceland which is foggy most of the time compare to other EU countries. This DRL has been discuss as well and they also want to get rid of it as they says it also affects the vision of Motorist... I was once confronted by Police when I left my fog lamps on while I was about to park, It was the first Time I put it on just to know If it was working and I was so lucky that a police car passed right that very moment. He stop and turn into the street where I was park because I need to open the gate. He told me that I shouldn't put the fog lamp and i could get a fine for that. I said sorry officer, my mistake then I put it off. He then let me go and that was it...
  22. I find 215/45/17 the closest to the stock 205/50/16 Try to look on the tyre calculator to see How big is the diff.. corrected, Was at work earlier so only a rush msg...
  23. You may Need this one while HID is not yet ban... Anti-reflective eyeglass coating.
