  1. Oh go on then!! Set the next challenge please. It seems that everybody else has broken their cameras
  2. Two of my Sunchasers at a show last year Pic of me on honeymoon in Amsterdam 3 years ago And to scare the kids with, a photo of me about 12 years ago Ian
  3. It seems that no-one other than Old Red has a preoccupation with dancing schools But to keep things moving, try this: Not the best picture in the world, not the smartest dance school and no young girls dressed in lycra, lace and wielding pom-poms, but sorry Bryan it was the best I could do Next challenge due to the time of year, your Celica with an Easter egg on it (real egg or chocolate, but if a real egg it must be decorated accordingly). Edit: For those with poor eyesight like myself, the sign says "Yvonne School of Dancing" and it's in Crewe for your reference.
  4. I'm more than happy with that. Now less yap and set the next one
  5. Next, if it's not been done already, your Celica outside a health & fitness centre/gym, as in Fitness First, Bannatyne's that sort of thing. Extra brownie points if there's a rolled-up towel on the roof
  6. Best I could do Err no, MR X is back in service as a 50-mile-a-day commuter for a while, anyway we're too posh to have shops where we live Does this count? Fellow TEC member Tony's early Landcruiser, definitely not a car in my opinion
  7. This is the best I can do Time: 8am yesterday- Location: Nantwich town centre- Velocity: Just stopped at a set of lights Poor picture, but is it any good?
  8. Sorry, but I think you'll find it's pedantry, not pedanticism
  9. Clarification needed please! From a previous clarification by yourself "Just to clarify. For safety and remaining within the law. From inside the car. Not neccessarily moving unless the passenger takes it. Passing = stopped for the driver." So are we moving (wheels turning) or are we stationary (stopped for the driver) Yours pendantically, Ian
  10. This wasn't my challenge but I think that fits the bill. If everyone else is OK with this, set a new challenge and the thread is up and moving again
  11. Well, I also found it rather funny and quick, so less of the backchat and get yer camera out
  12. Looks good to me, next challenge please. BTW who's that in the window? :xmas_unsure:
  13. As long as they're still part of the Woolworths group, why not ?
  14. Right then, your Celica next to a branch of Woolworths, brownie points if it's got a closing down sale sign in the window Snap a piece of High Street history before they all disappear.
  15. Apologies it's not a NEW photo, but two identical Sunchasers together is a rare shot at any time Selkirk Rally 2006 when I drove MR X up to Scotland for the opportunity to have a snap with Debbie Wade's Sunchaser. Let me know if this is acceptable and I'll set a new challenge.
  16. More to the point, why were you carrying a model of a Celica with you?
  17. Well I'm quite happy for Angus to set a new challenge and keep this moving. It seems the least we can do after all the trouble he seems to have been in with the law today
  18. More than acceptable ! Farm shop it is then, boys and girls.
  19. Point taken, it seems that this thread has hit one of the quiet spots again. NEW CHALLENGE:- Your Celica outside a pub/restaurant advertising Christmas Day Specials, you know the type "Book early to avoid disappointment" etc. etc.
  20. No, the council wouldn't let us with having the Chinese takeaway at the bottom of the garden (red sign in the background) so we had to build the chippy at the front of the house
  21. Not strictly a kebab shop, but the local chippie with a special line in kebabs according to his sign. If acceptable, next challenge is your Celica (or the bloke down the road, Angus) next to a 1970's/1980's Ford car/van (I like this kind of challenge as it brings out some interesting old motors )
  22. Well as photos go, that's a cracker - a bloke with as much crap on his drive deserves to win 25 years later or not! And I set the challenge, so it's OK by me. Next challenge please
  23. And especially for Angus as a stalwart of this particular topic, I am prepared to amend the challenge to "Your (or the guy along the road's Gen 7) Celica next to a 1970's/1980's British Leyland car/van
  24. See, they are still out there And don't forget I said 1980's as well, so a lot of beige pensioner material to go for.....Maestro's, Montego's, Triumph Acclaim, Metro's, Ambassador, Ital, and don't forget Sherpa vans and their later Freight Rover offshoots. Get snapping people and remember it's tat like this that made the Japanese car industry what it is today
