  4. I had one buckled a few years ago and put it on the back. The biggest problem was all the other drivers stopping me to tell me it was about to fall off
  5. No problem, hopefully someone else with a van is going that direction. I'm sure the CCUK delivery service will prevail as it has done so many times in the past.
  6. Didn't even think to check, just saw the location as "London", and i know it's a big place, if Luton can claim to be a London airport..... Should be fine, so long as you can confirm it will fit, pick up and drop off details.
  7. Depends on where in London, and if it will fit in the G7, but i might be able to help. I'm planning to drive south this weekend, but hadn't planned to go quite so far south, but i do have some spare time. PM me to discuss if you like.
  8. I have a few mates who are coppers, when asked about HID they all have said it's one of the first things they check if there is any doubt. Just because they're coppers doesn't mean they know nothing about cars and what to look for. One of them has even pulled a car in the past and when the driver was able to provide evidence for everything else, the HIDs were declared "improperly fitted" as they were not self levelling or cleaning.

  11. Toyota Norwich always seem disorganised in terms of return customers, but for sales I cant fault them. Toyota Bedford (Bromham) ont he other hand are great. I've been there 3-4 times so far, and only paid once for a problem I caused. That was £30 labour to diagnose the blown fuse and ~£2 for the replacement which arrived the next day. The guy on reception was different to the one i'd seen the day before but without giving any details he knew who i was, why i was there and sorted it immediately. On the other hand i had one of those "specail offer" letters in the post from HQ and phoned ot try and get them to do my service on the cheap, but the just offered free oil with my MOT test and wouldn't do anything else, but my MOT etst was in March so no good to me.
  12. Yeah, but his other three items are still up and using the logo. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/toyota-celica-bonnet-silver-1999-BREAKING-GT-NO-RESERVE-/330585488940?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf86e3e2c http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-COMPLETE-DOORS-1999-BREAKING-GT-L-R-/330585488111?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf86e3aef http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-ENGINE-2-0-GT-3SGE-1999-BREAKING-GT-/330585493464?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf86e4fd8
  13. Lets assume for 2 mintuies that speed isn't the factor to accidents and that the UK government then remove the speed limit on all motorways. All the money they bring in for catching people breaking THE LAW is then lost. Do you want your taxes increased further? I already work 2 days per week to earn enough to pay the government for the privalege of living in the UK, I'd like to keep the other three for me to earn to choose where and how I live. People then drive faster, on roads that aren't designed for these increased speed, with worsening road surfaces and safety barriers that can't contain the vehicles travelling at higher speeds. We certainly dont have the money to change any of these three new problems. We then have some fantastic donation from a random billionaire, you lot will only complain that the Gov then closes all the roads with repair works and improvements. Assuming even that they increase the limits from 60 to 100, on a 20 mile journey you'd only save 8 minutes. On longer jounies it does make more sense, but how often have you over taken a set of slow moving cars, only to ge to the next corner and find someone willing to do 60 in lane 3 and you have to slow down again or break the law and undertake them? At the end of the day, the law is the law, and if you dont like it, group together, get yourselves voted into the local council and start making a fuss about it. You only need ~1000 people in an urban area to vote for you to get elected. The uk voting population is only 44m and only ~60% actually vote, so 26.4m, and you only need ~35% to get in power, so setup a Facebook page and find yourselves 9.24m friends.
  14. Nice, and yes i'd want Lambo doors, but for you bigger/taller folks surely getting in/out is difficult? Every version of Lambo door on the 7 that I've seen hardly opens any further than the photos on there
