  1. yeah ive told the guy im not interested. im really not a fan of the 7. the ss111 will do me till i get my hands on the st185 in a few weeks.
  2. yeah thats what i was thinking. not sure i would fit in a hairdressers car either, im 6ft 3" and they dont look very big inside. my sisters man is 6,7" he had a look at one a few years ago and couldnt get in one if i remember right.
  3. 120k he said i think. 13k more than my ss111
  4. been offered a 1999 140 motd for a year taxed for 6 months for my ss111. guy says he has owned it for 2 years. i asked if it used oil and of course he said no  going to have to have a think about it. not enough power is 1 let down, but would it resell better than the ss111? im looking to buy a st185 in around 6 weeks anyway.
  5. ah could be now that you mention it im sure ive seen a few with them
  6. had hids in my ss-11 for 3 mots and never had a prob with them fitted
  7. ive got a sticker with a number 10 on it and some japanese writing under it at the top center of the windscreen of the ss-111 i bought. looks like a jap auction sticker could be wrong tho
  8. 40 quid up here at my local place and thats for all 4
  9. Happy Anniversary mikca01!

  10. got a quote for a gt4 st185. 400 quid fully comp. think that settles the debate going to look at one tomorrow. looking forward to getting a test drive
  11. oh thats ok then. just thought it was a bit odd them not reading the same on both. guy only wants £1000 for it so going to have a really good look over it tomorrow and take it for a decent drive.
  12. found a guy near me with a st185 looks pretty clean just had the turbo replaced motd for 9 months. my only issue is he says the mileage is 80k the clocks read 128k which he says is in km thats fair enough. what im unsure about is he says it clocks up in km but the speedo is in mph is it possible to have them like that? cheers mitch
  13. not to bothered if i have to do a few bits and pieces to one but yeah head gasket and turbo will be the things i check to see when and whats been done. had thought about looking for one with no mot and having a little project.
  14. yeah thats whats putting me off putting a bid in. want to try and find somthing with under 100k on it hopefully
  15. this is one ive been looking at reasonable milage not sure about it being white tho. my last gen5 was a gunmetal color think my 202 is going the same color soon. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item337bc98b20 my last 182 had 180k on it sonic was one of the best cars ive owned never had any major issues with it. would still have it if farmer f***kin giles hadnt decided to see how it would look with his tractor parked on the front end of her.
  16. yeah if i do go down the faff route it would be a 185 rather than the 205 i still like the gen5 shape.
  17. i do like the look of the gto. was looking at a mrk1 with the pop up lights maybe just missing my gen5 tho
  18. hi guys. been toying with the idea of getting myself a faff to play with. but ive noticed i can get a 3.0 twin turbo manual gto for around 2k. going to keep the st202 as an everyday runabout but fancy somthing a bit quicker as a toy. opinions and comments welcome. cheers mitch
  19. its more that i can stick the split one on at the side of the road mate. getting the driveshaft out of the gearbox in the street with kids and cars about might be interesting. lol. i can usually get into my sisters drive but her man has his l200 and a v8 xr2 in it just now.
  20. has to be a proper plate. not a plastic stick on
  21. stick on plates wont pass an mot. i ordered 1 couple of years ago for my gen5 and was told to change it for the mot.
  22. yeah still easier than trying to do the driveshaft at the side of the road mate. cheers for that. if i can fit it over the boot thats there that might help with the grease to get them to stick.
  23. i need to do the inner cv boot for the mot. only thing i have left to do. will one of the split cv boot kits still pass an mot? i know most places dont sell them now but manage to find one from amazon. would make life so much easier than having to remove the driveshaft. cheers mitch
  24. mine failed mot twice last year on the exhaust being to loud. put it in this year and it passed, same garage new tester who is a biker its down to the mot testers discretion on if an exhaust is to loud. i have a full powerflow on my gen6
