That's a lot of unecessary work/responsibility for Stew though mate, & the spline fitment isn't that deep so in effect you'll be virtually grinding down the part that's stopping them from turning in the hole. It'd be a lot better for him just to sell you guys spacers & then source your own studs from Fensport. Someone has to test the water with the Fenny studs & there's no 2 ways about it - putting new studs, even oem ones, into any hub is going to take some work. Yeah sorry bud, credit where credit's due

I didn't need to touch the studs included with the H&R spacers, mind you they were a tight fit & took some pulling through. I reckon an airgun would have saved me shed loads of time & I was a bit broken for a few days after!

That's a lot of cash mate, those spec editions always tend to go for more. You could pick up a really decent tsport for a lot less or are you definitely set on a 140 red?

Seen these recently & they look exactly like the tech 5s.

I've got Kumho KU39 on all round @ 215 45 17, getting some arch rubbing with the rear 27mm spacers but that'll be cured soon once the arches are rolled & the TEINs are fitted I do prefer the slightly more stretched look of 205s if I'm honest & the higher profile seems to be unsettled more if you hit a bump through faster corners, but for the extra comfort they offer on a normal drive it's really hard to go back to the 205s.

Bigger ones on the front, surely that looks a bit strange? What about fitting 4 new ones & selling the toyos on? Serratia & a few others on here really rate the Rainsports. I've had T1R's on the fronts before but would never go back to them with the dreary weather we have.

There's a good chance you'll be around when his engine disintegrates then, happy days Lad near me has a stripped out 106, full roll cage the works, had a chat with him at the lights once & he's serious about his motors. Motor sounds extremely chavish, but after talking with him I have quite a bit of respect for his superlight 1.6 now & you just know that manifold/zorst system is loud for real reasons. Always driven by bell ends mate so it's to be expected. Someone in a Vectra TDI had a go off the lights a few weeks ago, WTF!?
