  1. I did deliveries in my celica for about 6 months with Dominos. Its fine tbh, but its not a partucularly hard job for any car to manage. Just be carefull. I worked out (was a full time member of staff) that i was doing 24,000 mile per year with them. That alot of stress for a car. Oh, and if you do it, check your insurance. I didnt, but when it came for renewel i read my documentation and it doesnt cover for fast food delivery.
  2. Roflmao what a description. Wasn't me though
  3. Im not gonna go into legallity, its all bullsh*t lol, and nobody ever agrees on if theyre right or wrong. To answer your question, go with 5800-6000k. Its a nice colour, is plenty bright enough and is the one your most likely not to get issues with the police with. I have hears that 8000k reflects off of raindrops so is useless in the wet. Where from? Go to ebay and search for londoncolour. I bought mine probably about a year ago, and so have plenty of members since. The kits arent the cheapest on eBay but they are by far the best. Dont get those £20-30 kits, they are mostly from far off countries and if they break, which alot do, your have all sorts of issues returning the faulty part. Londoncolour is a UK seller.
  4. I often get blinded with cars with reflector headlights that have HID's fitted. I more often than not get blinded by land rovers as there headlights are so high the beams go straight into your bloody eyes. Merc's are bad for that aswell, they just seem really badly aligned. I have NEVER been blinded by a person who has retro fitted HID's to a projector lens headlight. Its impossible. The lens focus's the light onto the point its needed. Assuming the headlight is alligned properly which, assuming you dont mess about with the alignment screws, it will be. When i fitted mine i drove straight to the garrage, paid to have my lights tested and 5 seconds later i was told theyre perfect. Anyone who's reponsable would do this. In cant see them ever implimenting this unless they overhaul the MOT rules. How can they prove you havnt also somehow retro fitted auto levelers. The celica headlights are totally covered at the rear by the plastic cowlings in the engine bay. And what can testers not do? Dismantle any part of the car. "Do you have auto headlight adjusters?", "yes", "ok then". unless they change this, which they wont, they cant enforce this as a law.
  5. From what i heard via SMS, his gearbox exploded.
  6. Might keep my eye on eBay as i too want to split mine open, but i want a backup set incase i screw them up! Would also like to get some DRL's in there aswell, rather than mine on the outside like i have right now.
  7. always wondered that aswell, so we can drive a twist and go moped without any further tests. Not that id ever want to, nasty stupid things, but still
  8. Tried a large b&q? They've got literally 1000 types of bolt.
  9. PAS fluid will damage paintwork but never thought it was eye killing bad. Thats really bad mate, feel sorry for you. Thankyou for letting us know about this.
  10. It doesnt look a terrable kit tbh, just an ugly car. but er... Current bid: £7,100.00 [ 6 bids ] Reserve price not met Reserve price not met! wtf!
  11. The stickers come silver/grey as standard (handy as i had a silver car) Mook is the only member authorised to create CCUK stickers in different colours as the logo is copyright CCUK
  12. Yeah AFIK theyre not active yet. Obviously we follow speed limits but when these signs are saying "Caution Que Ahead" for like 3 miles with a 50mph speed limit and you can see there isnt, your still gonna be doing 70. So theyre either not turned on or the DVLA dont have my address correct, which i know they do! Still, i gues these are better and the old arch nemesis of motorists, the average speed camera...
  13. Il own up to that one! Tell her to get some stickers on!
  14. Yes jap cars and their owners get respect from me. There are 2 exceptions from this rule however.. 1. Prius. Full stop, hey get treated like the bags of crap they are. 2. 15 year old Toyota 4x4's. The pickup trucks are fine, its just the guly ass 4x4's that i hate. Anyone in a 1998 shape supra, or any kind of celica, will get added bonus points! lol
  15. I know it's correct, I changed it a few weeks ago! If you see him tell Him to check his damn emails! Sorry lol just I'm inpatient! Lol hope tomorrow goes good for you.
  16. Haha yes seafoam. Whatever you do, don't put snowfoam in your intake system! Lol
  17. The address of his unit (if your meeting there) is on his website. Reworxstyling.com
  18. Isn't it the same idea as that snowfoam stuff? Should help with emissions if nothing else. Il watch this thread though, might even try some if it isn't too hard to do.
  19. I wish you the very best of luck with this mate. Your asking price was more than fair, as I said I paid more than that for my standard 140. Shane it looks like it won't stay in the club though.
  20. Alfreton, lol I usedtoo live there. I'd think with that tesco being a few years old there car park will be covered
  21. If i smoked, i would allow it. I dont, and i expect people to abide by my rules when in my car. I used to let friends do it in my old clio (first car) and it smelt horrid, an i was like wtf, i have to live with this. So now, absolutly no way.
  22. I push mine hard 60% of the time, but ive never hit the limiter. IMO its no good for the car.
