Now I know that posting JDM flares is illegal. But lets just say hypothetical Iike I happened to come accross on that was just lying around. I totally ignore 7s as they are all driven by the mid life crisis brigade around here. get the odd look from 6 drivers (you know the ones you know are thinking oh look thats the shape before mine), the amount of 5s on the Isle of Wight you can prob count on one hand, and theres 2 of um at our house. The last gen 4 I saw i brought, and that was over a year ago. I think Ive only ever had 3 waves on IOW one was from a club member (ChrisIOW when he had his 202) one from a black 185 and the other was an old guy in a white mark 3 Supra years ago.

Thats one of the reasons Im up to 13 gen 7 alloys :lol: That and its cheaper to buy a set of 4 gen 7 alloys with legal tyres than it is to buy 1 and a half new tyres

x2 This is my set of CS alloys that I had pro sprayed a couple of years ago Before After Currently on my gen 4 track car. Yes I know they arnt worth anything but I want to keep them looking like that as they are mint and i dont want to race on them. Heres my DIY attempt on the wheels on my 5 before After No where near as good as the CS wheels but it does the job. They were already sandblasted though which is the bit Im worried about BTW can anybody here photoshop the black gen 5 please??? Kittii is thinking satin black wheels but the side of the spokes in Ford velvet purple or similar.????

Looking to do a quick refurb/spray on some alloys. Last time I did this I they were already sandblasted which made the whole process very easy. Just a quick fiill, undercoat and spray. Looking to so something similar to tidy them up the rather large pile of alloys in my shed but they are still "finished" surface anybody know how I can get a similar prep surface using sanding? I do have a small electric sander. What grade paper etc etc?????

Talk to Rich for advice mate, he did several and I know it took him at least 2 trys to get his right the first time (its on his mod thread) Good move on the heat gun, Kates wrapping was a massive improvement once she stopped using a hair dryer
