  1. I`ve been thinking about changing for a while on and off as I`m sure a lot of G7 140 owners have, I have a 2004 with Premium and style packs but just having hit 100k I have been wondering if its worth changing to a Tsport with lower miles. Has anybody gone from a 140 to a 190 and truly noticed a big difference in normal driving or is it only when you floor it. I have been looking on Autotrader everynight looking at other make cars but I do like the g7 shape.

I know what you mean - Id normally have changed my car at 100k but nothing takes my fancy - been pondering over a cr-z as ive given up hope on the ft-86 ever coming out...

  2. i think on older cars - you would see the clock go backwards in reverse - on newer cars where its a signal rather than a drive probably not

best way to check if you think your mileage is more - stick a journey in sat nav check how much it should be and then follow it and see how mnay miles it is on your clock

I don't mean to sound rude or anything, perhaps I am just a bit nieve when it comes to convertable's, but do they really differ enough to warrant a dedicated forum section?

Apart from the lid, what's the difference, many other celica's have leather interiors. Essentially, the vert is a GT, and apart from the back lights, they are very much the same. It's understandable with the GT4's as they have a turbo, different engine parts, drive train, 4x4, body work, costings and lots of other subjects.

My suggestion is to place the g4 topic into the g1-3 one.........

But the vert topic is a non starter to me.....

already been suggested but rejected as technology between 1-3 and 4 is totally different - the 4 is a lot like the 5 though so maybe its should go in their.
