  3. did anyone else spot the mistake in the butterfly effect, when the mom is driving and he is in the front seat, and the girl is in the back and she gets out without him getting out - only 2 doors on the celica - pointed it out to my wife but she wouldnt agree...
  4. i saw this the other day and meant to post it up but ccuk kept crashing as I remember seeing talk about this in another thread: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-CONVERTIBLE-CABRIOLET-TONNEAU-COVER-T20-/270705753308?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0751fcdc never mind...

  6. when i bought the wifes yaris in 2007, they told me they had been told it was coming out 2008 - still no sign of it....
  7. cant believe toyota couldnt work it out - im sure its a pulley
  8. yeah lee - se7en is your man - he might even have a rebuilt engine ready so he can do a swap in swap out he has a thread: http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.p...howtopic=113224
  9. pm nix and see if he has the parts in silver
  10. usually it will just splice in somewhere like a bridge - effectively just a switch in the middle of the wires - their might be 4 wires - 2 power ones and 2 switch ones
  11. varies on each one - but you need to trace the wires back to see where it has been spliced into
  12. im pretty sure ill be getting one - if the 7 can hold out for a bit longer...
  13. that paint job ruined one of the nicest celicas on here
  14. just realised - you are talking about front fogs - not part of the MOT (hence my point about white light as I thought you meant rears!)
  15. if it emits white light - then potentially yes If it has a sharp edge then - again maybe yes You only need the right side one to be working. If its the left one remove the bulb - cover it with black tape and you will be ok or i can supply one for about £8 posted
  16. apart from you dont know who the owner is - so you havent given notice to them
  17. when a car gets scrapped - people swap bits off before it gets taken away - have seen a uk 7 on steels!
  18. only 1st 10,000 miles are at 40ppm, after that it drops to 25ppm
  19. my cousin had this - think it got thrown out - but was a lot of headache - bloody ambulance chasing lawyers putting the premiums up for all of us - i fukn hate em
  20. nope think their is someone who isnt so active anymore on 170k
  21. use the celica - motorway miles will do it no harm and it will help pay for mods - im on 153k (bought on 20k)
  22. agreed - also need to declare it your insurance as "business use" which is differnt to commute.
  23. LPG - it can be done - I know of m3s that have been done - needs the correct kit with the correct injectors though
  24. depends on how much damage their was before hand - also depends on the person doing repairs - if you can see pics of the car before - may give you a better idea, the vehicle inspections - also depend on the inspector - some of the stuff they come back with is way over the top whilst they can still miss some pretty important things - id take it a MOT tester you know and trust and get a more straight answer.
