  10. ive just purchased a scary looking silverline polisher http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-Silverstorm%C2%AE-129659-Sander-Polisher/dp/B0021L95WA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=diy&qid=1307736408&sr=8-1 got some meguiars pads and polish for that any suggestions for the best wax to use on the car after ive finished getting it all wonderful looking as a side note can i use the polisher to apply the wax to the car?
  11. hmmm those silverline ones appear to be in budget, look a bit scary though lol if i get a soft pad how likely am i to make a mess of my paintwork on my first attempt?
  12. hmm rotary looks a little expensive and more than Im after i think. Im really only after somthing that is goona make polishing easier and give a good shine to the car I have my suspicions about ones that looks this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_189810_langId_-1_categoryId_165640 sugestions?

  14. to be honest its all about budget and what you expect i got a cheap set £200 for all for corners, they were v loud to start with and a little loud now but grip wise they are no different to yokos that were on the car

  18. nice one steve thats the sort of pic i was hopping for when i set it so it a dash to woollies then!
  19. that is cool, i appreciate that our celicas might not be able to do that but something of that scale would fit the bill nicely, or just one of you soaking some poor person by driving through a puddle quite quick would do it as well
  20. hmm so police car is out, thanks nemesis glad to see some1 keeping count hmmm so many all ready done ok how about one of your car going through some water preferably fast enough to cause some signficant splash *hehe should be easy enough for those who went to the last japshow*
  21. hmm as i picked one that had already been done suppose i should pick something else as was a bit easy and no challenge well keep to the emergency services then and say cop cars, one is a bit easy i think so i think a photo with at least 2 cop cars in it deciding factors being number of cars and if they have their lights on
  22. i know the challenge has technically got to be a place but i was thinking of next to a fire engine, would be cooler if it was on call (lights flashing and all) is this acceptable people?
