  1. As Njay has pointed out many times, the pre and post face lift brochures for the Gen 7 are in the Wiki section. There is no face lift 190 though, Toyota discontinued your particular model in 2002.
  2. Ade2659 is most commonly seen in the Gen 5 section
  3. Whether there's a better option depends on the size of the holes in your Rims, there will be loads in M12 x 1.5 for sale on eBay.
  4. Finally arrived after all this time  But at least they included two Toyota Pens in the hope I leave positive feedback
  5. Paid £3.42 (with 25% discount and free delivery) for a Bosch Filter from Euro Car Parts for my 140 less than two weeks ago.
  6. The last I heard, top the range Zymol wax is £7K. Haven't tried it yet though
  7. 25% off all car parts until the end of the month. Use promo code: WEEKEND25
  8. Surely that can't be legal, and why would you want to cover most of your rear screen with a piece of carpet?
  9. They're not available in the correct size, Rad, and tram lining would irritate some owners anyway.
  10. Just ordered a few Service parts to qualify for the discount. Bosch Oil Filter for the 140 works out at £3.42 (£9 at Mr T). Free delivery too http://www.eurocarparts.com/
  11. For areas you can access with a paintbrush, use a mixture of underseal mixed with old Engine Oil. It's a filthy task to do, but very satisfying. For non access areas like box sections, inject Waxoyl after warming it up first so it's more viscous (that's why Summer is the best time of year for Waxoyl).
  12. I was under the impression that Tyres with a larger rolling radius gave a truer reading Speedo wise. A few members on here (Aquazi for one) commented their Speedo was closer to the Sat Nav reading with 225/40/18. 205/40/17's are too small, the many disadvantages outweigh the increase in 0-60. 215/40/17 give a slight increase in acceleration and more protection from kerbing, but drawbacks are a harsher ride and a slightly bigger gap between Tyre and Arch compared to stock. 205/45/17 are the stock Tyre size for a gen 7. 215/45/17 will fill the Arches slightly better, give more Rim protection and a better ride. Downside is, as the rolling radius is increased over stock, acceleration will be slightly affected. After trying the bottom three on my 140, I settled on 215/40 front..215/45 rear.
  13. I've only had the first two services carried out in 2005/2006 by Mr T, necessary so as not to invalidate the three year warranty. Both were the smaller "interim" service so, IIRC, cost well under £100 each. The only tiny minus, was being charged for topping up the Washer Bottle, which i'd done prior to setting off for Ron Brooks in Ilkeston.
  14. Sorry to hear that, sheep. At least you work at the right place to get it sorted.
  15. You may well be right..depends on what the three letters are i'd say. If the last letter is for example an "X", it's obviously unlikely to spell someone's initials
  16. I thought so. What normally happens is the Cherished Plate Dealer advertises the plate at an extortionate price and the Plate remains unsold for many years. They (and you) may drop lucky and find a buyer, but it's very unlikely. As an example, I bought a "LYN" plate privately a few weeks ago at around 20% of the price the Dealers were offering.
  17. WOW I see the winning bidder is new to eBay, disappointment awaits methinks.
  18. Did they actually offer to send you a cheque for £1700, or sell the plate on your behalf and then send you £1700?
  19. That info. confirms they are definitely 16"
