  1. search for lamin-x very good product better finish than the flyeye vinyl
  2. Rich look at the link for the oil I posted! It will all make sense Using both their products together with do a much better job than a fuel additive will. Mainly because it's actually working for more than one tank of fuel! Just my thoughts on the matter for petrol cars As I said before they can work well on oil burners where the injectors cost £30-70 a piece to refurb but when you can get the injectors refurbed for such low cost it makes sense. Plus I can't see a fuel tank treatment working aswell as seafoam for example that goes in fuel tank, oil and vacuum system just from one bottle for around £18-£20 As I said triple action must be better than single
  3. rich they all claim they are better than each other you could get all you injectors refurbed for the price of one bottle! no brainer in my eyes even if you get a set off biggy get them refurbed fit them to yours then get yours refurbed and sell them on oh and v-power coupled with this:- http://www.shell.co.uk/home/content/gbr/products_services/on_the_road/oils_lubricants/shell_helix_tpkg/product_range_new/helix_ultra_extra/ will do a much better job in the long run and a damn site cheaper!
  4. you do all realise that V-Power has cleaning agents in the fuel?????????? hence manufacturers recommending it for there cars. i have used both seafoam and forte on my van and seafoam really does shift a lot of crap! prob be more beneficial to send your injectors off to have new seals and nozzles company's that do it on the bay for between £7-£12 oh and if you are running that cheap chip fat oil asda have been selling off them it will just coke up all your internals anyway!
  5. rubbing compound just get the thick parts off then use a rubbing compound it will come off easy
  6. as has been said stick around mike i have and i sold my celica 15 month ago!
  7. for the price rainsport 2's are the best but if your willing to spend £100+ a corner conti sport contact 3 and Michelin pilot sport 3 are prob the best two tyres on the market at the min!
  8. have you tried this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PAGID-ANTI-SQUEAL-NON-METALIC-BRAKE-PAD-PASTE-ABS-OK--_W0QQitemZ290470748763QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=213756621574&rvr_id=213756621574&cguid=63d8fb5a12e0a0aa12872d27fe2979f0
  9. i have found out the problem! the reason it only made 202bhp at the fly is because of the stock airbox it is way to restrictive! even though super chips claim on there website its for a stock car! i will get my graphs up when i have figured out how to work the scanner
  10. only thing old jord has done to his car is service it! everything is as it was when he bought it 18 months ago as has been said he has a previous dyno reading stating 168bhp at fly. so he was a bit gutted with the result.
  11. 4. Antmax 2.0 T-fsi 197bhp has bluefin map which claims to increase power to 238bhp we shall see! mine only made 202.5 HP at the fly and 154.5 HP al be honest am pretty disappointed with the result john said that my cars air fuel ratio is miles out at higher revs and that's why it only made what it did. oh well so much for the 40bhp superchips claim! but as has been said john is a sound bloke really is. oh and just for you gen 7 guys he likes lift!!
  12. been in both, both are very cheaply built interior both as plasticy as each other but out of the two i would choose the ST personally just personal preference but with regards to quality of the interior plastics they are both equal i would unfortunatly have to say that the gen 7 is a very cheaply made car myself but most cars are these days
  13. as i have said fiesta ST really does handle well as you have said it really does depend on the driver! but out of the two i would buy the fiesta ST personally gen 7 do look good once kitted up and the only thing that could draw me to get one is rotrex but then again you can get super charger kit for ST so meh! as for interior being crap gen 7 is pretty shabby to say the least! so i would say that the fiesta is on a par interior wise if not slightly better fiesta ST's are pretty cheap to insure for what they are also! an old member on here called mikster use to own a fiesta ST and bought a GT after writing the fiesta off send him a pm to ask him if the fiesta is any good! there not really two cars you would compare though are they a super mini against a sports coupe?? the fiesta is in the market to compete with the clio sport, corsa sri,saxo,C2 and alike a fiesta never claimed to be a hot hatch! it's to small
  14. my mate gets 38mpg out of it even when he gives it some!
  15. my mate has one and they handle like a little go kart! a modded one matches a 190 easy my mate is coming with me to the Yorkshire rolling road next sat so we shall see what it puts out on the dyno! they really are very good little cars the chassis is very good on them ford actually made changes to the standard chassis for the ST model! so to answer it my money would be on the ST stock for stock!
  16. if they do replace the screen make sure they dont scrape the paint off when they remove the old screen it will rust quicker then you think!
  17. would you own a C4????????????????????? don't think this argument works really. izzy just sell all your motors and get one of these! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2006-Audi-RS4-Saloon...=item5641e56460 i love them they are a grat car not everyones cup of t but it shifts
  18. poly bushes all round lower ARB's and you will be getting their but after these mods you could have bought a couple of gen 5's! but as has been said the front and rear braces really do make a difference also the poly bushes made a huge difference on my old car
  19. i will be up for it if its a 4x4 rolling road i can have a word with stattler in sheffield and see if they have theirs up and running yet. my mate may be interested also i ring them 2morro see what steve has to say when they did cambelt on my car he said it was nearly up and running
  20. as has been said if you change from standard fuel by this i mean bp or shell unleaded not supermarket PISS. you need to dissconnect the battery and alow the car to idle for ten mins to re lean and adjust it's fueling to v-power or alike to get proper results. you can't use a tank full of standard then just put a tank full of v-power if after and compare data, you just wont get correct results. plus oil makes a massive difference also! and V-power contains cleaning agents!
  21. only problem is you have stated that you want the car to be decent for when you take CUSTOMERS to lunch a scooby ain't gonna be very inpressive to a majority is it?? my bet would be get a 2.0tdi VAG car have it remapped it will be just as quick as you current car if not quicker! most of the guys with the 2.0tdi 170bhp a3's are running around 210bhp mark after just a re-map 45mpg. but it depends what your after if i was in your situation i would be going for the sensible option of a nice quality car that will impress clients yes i am biased! but what i say is true scooby as company car just dont work unless you run a tuning company
  22. just put some white grease on thread when fitting
  23. if you want a cheap run about get a 1.3multi jet grande punto 65mpg £30 a year tax for the orice they cost they blow alot of cars out of the water!
  24. very similar to repair i have just had done on my car your looking at around £250 mark to be done proper
