well iv just bled all of them again and they are still the same, my dad thinks i may have air in the servo, so to pump the peddles about 20 times each, oh the joys :rolleyes: guess im gonna need more brake fluid

Right i know this is gen 6 stuff but iv put it here as anyone could give me some help right basically ever since thursday my brakes have just gone to shit, it seems ever since stu took my rear brake shoes off and put them back on my brakes have gone bad. I thought they would need bleeding, so i got my mate to do it, but we got to the rear nipple and it was blocked so only done the three, i then yesterday un blocked the 4th nipple and bled that through, alot of air came out, great i thought, thats job sorted, took the car for a spin round the block, they seemed a bit better. now today i went out in the car and sure enough when the car got warm the first time you press the brake peddle its soft as anything, then the seconds time the peddle gets stiffer and then stiffer, but leave it for about a min and they are back to being soft again. the fluid level is fine, and iv done a complete drain of the old fluid and its all new clean dot 4 in there now. Iv bee under the car and i cant see any split pipes as there is no signs of fluid anywhere, and the fact the fluid level isnt going down would suggest there isnt a split pipe anywhere. has anyone got any ideas why my peddle might still be soft on the first press every few minutes? all the pads have plenty of meat on them. Im starting to think maybe the servo is playing up

well i can safely say im not far from this iv been here since 2008, had 3 celicas, keep leaving them but always find myself coming back to them, even when i dont own one i love looking at them, so i to have Celicaitis

painting isnt for the faint hearted, it can go very very wrong, im quite confident at painting but id never paint a large area of my car cos i know id fook it up. if i was you cait id save up and get it done professionally

well according to the list on that page you will need the following -ST205 fuel rail with injectors -ST205 map sensor -ST205 engine loom -MR2 rev3 turbo ECU -ST205 exhaust manifold -ST205 turbo CT20 -CT20 oil and water lines -uprated fuel pump -3SGTE decat pipe -custom 2.5" system -front mount intercooler with 2.5" pipes low boost would be about 7psi on actuator pressure which should give you close to 50/60brake with similar torque increase. so your system will probably have to go as it wont be up to the job but if you shop around and do alot of the work yourself im sure it can be done on a budget of around £1k, much cheaper than the GT4 or V6 conversion

why not go down the Turbo route on your engine? something i have been thinking, check this thread out CLICKY you can use pretty much all the GT4 parts on the ge lump and if you look hard can be done on a budget

yeah its cos they been copied from a small source cos they looked good when i took them but the person who owns it now as i dont think its the same guy i sold it to probably dont know as much about it as i do lol

My mate put rainbow flake on hid black bonnet and roof, in dull weather it just looks black but in the sun it looks awesome but that is only on parts of his car, the rest is purl white and it works really well Why not get a picture of your car up and ask some people to Photoshop it different colours for you

could have High mileage and i never trust anyone who says a car is hpi clear, and even if it is, doesnt mean it not been involved in a crash. the problem with gumtree is alot of scams go on there as its not moderated if its all genuine then its a right steal of a price tho also funny how its advertised as red and its blue
