  1. i have quite a poor credit rating due to my past, so bank loans are out of the question, they wont touch me, hence why i thought about finance, the company that are sorting it for me have said the APR is between 20-25% over 4 years on £3500, but id get the exact amount once i found the car i like i do have my gen 6 i could put down as a part ex once its fixed and mot'd a quick look on ebay and the cheapers i can find a 190 for at the max of 8 years old is £3950, so basically £500 out of my budget.
  2. yeah see this is what im thinking too, iv been accepted for finance on £3500 but the car has to meet the above criteria and im kinda thinking to myself, i know privately they can be had at that price but a dealer, fat chance the finance firm did say if i find a car they will check to see if its over priced and if it is then negotiate the price down to what it should be, but i still cant see it happening i have 14 days to find a one at that criteria
  3. ...........to get a gen 7 190 no older than 8 years with less than 120,000 miles on the clock from a car dealer for £3500?
  4. just be careful with that g3 cos it will strip the paint if you dont keep the polisher wet, and i mean very wet, get a bucket of water and dump the buffer in it every 30 seconds or so
  5. yep i done the same on a few prelude forums when i was thinking of getting one
  6. yep 42mms would do the job nicely
  7. dannymac is the guy who does flocking, he is a corp member
  8. they do fit a celica, same stud patterns as mine 5x100 and 5x114.3 im glad you posted pics up cos i was gonna do the same with mine and after seeing them im not so sure now
  9. well i paid £195 delivered for my 17" lenso RS5s in pretty good nick, so id say about £250 mainly because the tyres are pretty decent
  10. id sell the thing and buy the Aston Martin
  11. thats halfrauds paint for ya, never a good bloody match  looks to me like it needs a bit more paint tbh Matt, looks a tad patchy
  12. its just the way its been going for me the past few years mate, im hoping its just the bolt holding the cv joint as it was fine yesterday day time and after i jacked the car up it started doing it and iv never heard of a shaft just going right away, plus it only really happens once you get past 20mph and are on a bumpy road
  13. yep that was the first thing i checked, all tight, dad thinks it might be the drive shaft as its a bloody horrible sound, mate stu thinks i should check the nut on the CV joint as it was pretty fooked when we took it off and my other mate thinks its the ball joint, so looks like on my day off ill yet again be stripping it all back to investigate, beginning to think this celica is better off being scrapped
  14. mean no RS for me full stop mate, my car is draining all my money atm
  15. I think my celica really doesnt like me, iv now had to give up this month and take her off the road, the wheel bearing has all of a sudden got very bad (i'm wondering if we damaged it changing the CV gaiters) and it sounds like the wheel is about to fall off, so for the next 3 weeks im retoing it up in the mk1 MR2 lol here is my ride for the next three weeks
  16. ah i see Bryan looking, he'll know where it is
  17. nope its not you, i cant see it either, just wonder if its been moved to the members section maybe
  18. yeah dont try and blend from right to left, go from left to right. cos of the size of the area id give it a rub down between coats, then give it about 3-4 coats of clear and rub downs between if they need it
  19. the best tip for blending i can give is start at the left and as you get to the end spray over the end and stop, dont go to made at the end, you just want to do it till it blends, its not gonna be easy, i cant do it for shit lol but thats how i try and do it. if you mess it up, let it dry, rub it down and start again
  20. OK im gonna go slightly OT here, but i need to vent my views lol right i would never hit a woman, no matter how angry i got, but the moment she becomes violent towards me, at this point i see my only option is to defend myself, if she is big enough to give it then she is big enough to take it. now before i get called a woman beater (cos im not) im not talking about her slapping or pushing, but the moment she is actually attacking me, i will defend myself (and no i dont mean id knock her sparko) but restraining her in a forceful manor. really pisses me off this whole a woman can get violent and hit a bloke but a bloke is meant to just sit back and take it, its utter shit imo
  21. id be using her head to buff it out if i was you mate
  22. id rub back that neat line going down the bumper and part into the paint, then prime and blend across cos they line will be a bitch to hide, do the same when spraying it or you will get a visible line, its gonna be a fucker blending it tho cos you can almost guaranty the colour wont be a perfect match, specially if its from halfrauds, their silvers are never good matches
  23. Right iv been out and bled every nipple from the rear to the front and i done each one 30 times, 10 times then check fluid and bottle and i did get some bubble out of every corner, just took it round the blood and fingers crossed they did feel better, still a bit soft but better
  24. there is no leaks, had the car in the air on ramps since they have been shit and all the pipes are dry if i had sticky or not working calipers would i get the same symptoms?
  25. oh i have brakes, but its right at the bottom of the peddle, i can press my peddle probably over half way before they work, but then right after they get better and better, then you leave them and they go again. yep i check after every nipple and top it back up, well im hoping its still light after the football as im gonna go out then and do it for the 3rd time in two days. i fucking hate AIR!
