    I think bumblebee has something similar, looking at getting one for when I get rid of the unit, been working on the floor using axle stands all week and now i think ive done my back in...

    @Bumblebee

    not particularly cheap as you need a decent compressor to go with it but its been a god send for me so far . Lifts up to 1m which for me is plenty and when  you don't need it you can stand it against the wall although you do need a set of chain blocks to lift it

    Sorry, I am showing my ignorance now - what/where are the sill covers??

    Just ordered a 115mm angle grinder, but need to order a wire brush - who knew there were so many/types! Any recommendations as to which one I should go for?? Also need to order some axle stands as well...

    buy a cup type wire wheel but please  please also buy a quality pair of safety goggles , impact rated as not all are , I have lost count of the amount of times I have had bits of wire break off them and end up in my leg even going through overalls and jeans . Oh and some dust masks and a decent pair of gloves.

    With Paul's ( @Bumblebee) kind permission I thought I would add in the results from the MSDT Race Developments SC Manifold. Paul's car was a special case as he was already running 435Bhp (crank), the standard NA MSDT manifold will support upto around 380bhp so as we had higher aspirations I decided to design a specific unit based on Paul's exact setup.

    It appears the extra effort was worth while and I hope Paul is happy with the outcome. I personally enjoyed the process and its great to help someone reach their goals.

    Here's the final graph...

    411.8 WHP and 265lb/ft Torque    - EQUALLING 481.8 BHP (Crank)    - That's a 46.8 BHP increase from the manifold change. and an expert remap by Will at RDT

    Going to make a small Post Script here as its something I just noticed and am very proud of... The top 3 cars 1x SC and 2x NA in the Celica-club power list run MSDT Manifolds. Very pleased to be part of that, feels like a small personal win.

    Cant thank you enough Dave for the time you put in developing this manifold , its done everything I asked for and more .

    Now to get a track day booked for the end of the month hopefully

    Doh...might be a touch over the class limits here...

    193.7bhp at the wheels

    190bhp/tonne

    I thought as much but after seeing something wrong with the brake caliper on my mates bike he was building several years ago and saying nothing I thought id best say something . His caliper almost fell off on his 1st ride out as he hadn't noticed

    Tried taking the front drop links off so I can install my coilovers, given up wasted to much time on it. They have been drowned in wd40 for weeks wire brushed and still just spin now tried locking with a Allen key and just rounded it’s self  not enough room for mole grips and the nut spliter I got just keeps falling off. I don’t want to grind it as at the bottom there is no room. Can’t believe I’ve been beaten by two 14mm nuts
