  1. ive been curious about these as well, so will be interested to see the comments
  2. Now that I own both a GT4 and 190, they are just two different cars to be compared directly, I loved driving the GT-Four, and as a drivers car, the GT-Four wins hands down, the combination of the power and the handling, however its not an easy car to drive every day, and espes on long journeys, where as the 190 has some power there when you want it, but can be driven on long journeys very comfortably. Depending on what you want, if you want a car that is easy to live with everyday go for the 190, if you want a car that wont be doing many long journeys, go for the GT-Four
  3. Some outboards use unleaded petrol anyhow, so most marine hoses are rated for petrol as well
  4. Mine? Came with the car when I bought it, so no idea sorry, but Mook/Skewer should be able to do one for you
  5. I have sticker plate on my GT-Four, and never had a problem, even when pulled over for my rear plate, the cop looked at the front plate, ran his hand over it, but didn't say a word about it being a problem
  6. Im interested in this as well, but having a picture of both the 7 and the GT-Four
  7. had no end of problems with the Cobra on my GT-Four, always had to resync the fob every few journeys, and gone for Clifford Concept 650 for the 7
  8. its not too bad to replace though, had to do the one on the GT-Four, just be prepared to get wet when you take the pump out of the reservoir, lol
  9. got several people wanting to join me at mo, lol, might have to hold auditions, lol
  10. Cheers peeps, still got a way to go I think til it happens, but any help in finding a car, design ideas, sponsership (when the time comes) etc will be very welcome
  11. Hoping they go up soon, walk past the GTO that took part last year every physio session I have and was always meaning to go to the site to have a look, and only did a week ago or so, so now just searching for a car, would love to find a GT4, but dont quite think i'll find one for the right money
  12. ahhhh, will await the ones for my faff and the corrolla then, lol
  13. why you got a new V5 Sam? new car you not told me about? lol
  14. full details havent been released yet, but heres the website http://www.bangerrun.com/
  15. Looking at taking part in this next year, and am looking at what cars are a possibility to use, I want to use a Celica of some form (for obvious reasons ) the problem is the cost of the car cannot be more than £250, just curious if anyone has spotted a running (or easy fixed) Celica of any gen going for that money or close to it?
  16. see about the costs of importing one, might work out as cheaper
  17. Is there any easy way of working out what size screw I need for a certain hole? (The innuendo in that sentence! lol) Reason is, mounting the headunit to the 7, now the brackets are attached securely to the head unit, however at the moment, the brackets are not screwed to the car :s so the unit is kinda loose. I dont have the screws needed to attach it however. Is there anyway of working out which size I need without trial and error? or does anyone know what size screws I need?
  18. Not really a hijack anymore, lol my problem has been sorted, more like the thread has evolved now
  19. White is a nice colour.........however it hasn't nothing on the best colour which is of course Yellow and thats for any car, as much as I love my black faff, wish it had been Yellow
  20. great my car thinks it is a corolla, lol Say thanks to you Mrs for me please Haha no problem
  21. Can anyone do it? after buying Sadles car there is a sticker on the back in Japanese, now managed to translate part of it, but not been able to get any further, the sticker is below, the bit in the circle on the left and the first 3 characters of the centre part mean Toyota but that is as far as i've been able to get and yes I know the car is filthy after the journey home, lol
  22. Well after they forgot about the Gen4 and 5 GT-Four and talked about the best GT-Four, i'm ready to believe that they have a good honest opinion, lol
  23. Someone at work is subscribed to PPC, and so the mags appear in our crewroom/squadron bar, and noticed that Sept Issue had appear so had a look as usual, and was glad to see a buyers guide for the Gen 7 in there although dont think the person who did the review did enough research lol, apparently the 1st GT-Four was the faff (I mean we know its the best and all, but think the 165 and 185 should of at least got a slight mention, lol) and also apparently the 190 is very prone to overheating, first I've heard about it! lol Apart from that it's a good review, mentions about the 140 death rattle in alot of detail. Also good to see on the page after an advert for CCUK good to see that PPC consider the Gen7 a proper performance car
