They are a bit narrower and lower in profile than your current tyres. Might help with acceleration though.
-
Hopefully they'll up the offer then.
-
Did you have an agreed value? Otherwise they'll just offer you book price.
-
1000 miles a month is nothing.

Congratulations on your new job, there's no reason why a Celica won't be suitable for the job. It's reliable, fairly good on fuel and won't depreciate much.
The boot is a decent size to carry a fair bit of kit.
-
Did they make you a decent offer or do they want to get it in their possession first?

Written off, unless you rebuild yourself.
AMS in the Corp section may well have all the bits you need, but there's stuff more than skin deep that will need replacing.
See what the Insurance Co have to say/offer

Any Toyota dealership should be able to get it from that part number above.

It's a Dragon Boat, not a swan or viking ship.
Rover had a Viking ship.

A regular question.
Have you dampness/leaks? Lights or tailgate leaking?
Fresh air in or recirculation?
Use air con all the time?
Carry stuff in the boot that stay cool, like bottles of screen wash.
Again the search function would help you get a quicker response/answer.

Personally, I think it's more a case of protecting the "Celica" name.

Mobile Cranes are not MOTd either.

I think the onus is still on the owner, to proove the car is roadworthy.
-
The price is the same? I've voted for the rebuilt one, as effectively it's a zero mile box.

Today, I have mainly been tightening the fan belt that operates the water pump and alternator as it squeaked a bit. OK it squeaked a lot.

As long as they have the correct BS mark you should be ok at MOT time.

I've just had the rear calipers on the Corolla refurbished by Bigg Red, for 2 it cost just a tad more than buying one from a Motor Factors, in the finish of my choice.
Buy 2 used seized ones, and send them off. Get refurbished and swap over, no off road time then.

Going around roundabouts does make a lot of difference, I'm sure those from MK would confirm.

How do you reset the ECU?
Disconnect the battery for a short while or pull out the ECU fuse(poss EFi fuse).
