Z Club started it. My first on was in 1999 and it was well established by then.

As far as I know, just running smaller wipers is legal.

Small update, bit the bullet and bought this
Far better bit of kit.

I had the Avon under car covers 3 of them. one soft one on the paintwork, then 2 waterproof ones to keep it dry. The bonnet came up with micro blistering, so now I just let it sit in it's car port/shelter and wash the dirt and dust off in the spring.

Unfortunately the area around the valve is a place they go, on any alloy.
-
Did they remove the decorative studs (look like 12 point Allen key bolt heads)
If not there is contamination coming out. If they did remove them, did they use Stainless Steel and use something like epoxy resin to seal the holes that the bolt goes into up.

Are you talking about brown/Orange rust or white alloy rust?

Bought one of those cheap ones myself. It did not read codes so contacted the seller and got a full refund, without the expense of return postage.

With cross bracing (noggins) that would be fine.

Don't forget to edit the quoted bit

Well. You need to give us more clues.
Model? Driving style? What you want to do, road/Track?
Budget?
No point reccomending tyres that only come in 17" if you are running 14" wheels
Nothing comes cheap.
There is a whole forum out there with people findings over the years, you could try the "SEACH" option

On Ebay
OBD2 code readers are about £12- £15.
The one I have is now only £9

Are you in RAC or AA?

Will help your acceleration but will affect your real mpg.
Do they do 215/45 at a good price?

Ask Mook for centre cap stickers.

Washed THE Avon, took it to the nearest Maccy D's for supper. Watched 3 younger people looking at my car (20's) they took photos of it, then one of them brought their R35 GTR over, parked next to it and took more photos. I did speak to them, one couple up from Maidstone and one guy from Stafford, here to do a track day at Snetterton tomorrow.
R35 was rather lush.

Apart from that, IF there was an easy way of getting a few extra Bhp, We'd all be saying how wonderful it was/is.

It will trick your ECU, not actually tune your car.

Today I fitted a new battery to The AVON, got it started and round to the front of the house. Hoovered the roof to remove a layer of cat fur. Checked the fluids and all seems well. Interior hoovered, needs a wash though.
Will give it a wash and polish on Sunday, take it to work on Monday.

JAE misprint
in General Celica Discussion
Posted
Hmmm. Interesting, I only joined TEC in '99, so the JAE at Billing in '99 was my first JAE.
