You need to do this. 1. Disconnect negative battery terminal 2. Turn key in ignition to acc 3 position i.e so dash would light up if battery was connected 3. Wait till at least 30 seconds has elapsed since disconnecting the battery then reconnect the negative terminal. 4. Once reconnected press and hold both alarm buttons till the indicators flash.

The additional electrical current generates additonal heat in the conductor of the cable which will eventually melt the insulation and possibly start an electrical fire in your engine bay. After which the insurance company will investigating the cause and they will more than likely refuse to pay out if they determine this is the cause. Therefore this is a mod that is NOT recommended without upgrading the wiring to the lights.

Using lights rated over 55w can damage the wiring to the lights

Piggy back ECU's don't work on the Gen 7 either as the Toyota ECU's learns it way past them.

As stated above it is not possible to reflash/remap any Celica ECU.

flickering will probably be either lamp, ballast or loose connection. Given that you have ruled the first 2 out then it is probably a loose connection. Whihc will need sorting ASAP as it could arc.

The only problem I had with meganecors on my 2.0 was the lead kept coming off cylinder 4 even did at the pod ended up doing a decnt time on 3 cylinders
