Wheel spacers

Recommended Posts

ebay universal stuff is junk. Freaky's are quality. Need to be glued in with Thread lock. Pic below = lowered 30mm + Freaky's spacers 27mm rear 17mm front by way of guide. No rubbing issues under normal use.

They are zcw sharp 18" width 7.5 offset 38

I think you mean ZCW.

I reckon 17mm on the rear to be on the safe side, with 225/40 tyres (20mm wider than OE), any wider and you risk rubbing. Unfortunately, those oversize tyres are doing your 140 no favours at all.

Even if you just replaced the front tyres with 225/35, you would notice the difference in acceleration. I couldn't live with 225/40 on my 140, and changed them to 225/35 after just two weeks.

On a different note, with your rims having a polished finish, did you know they will not cope well with a damp British Winter?.

I'll try and give you some good news one of these days :D
