EnemySoil
Just wondering if anyone needed to be done this before on his/her car, mine's got a few stonechips and lacquer peel as well. Phoned a guy today and he said It would be £200 for an immaculate job. Is it a decent price for it, what do you think guys?
InsolentMinx
Prices will vary across the country, the bonnet is a large expanse of pretty flat metal so a good finish is vital. That's probably about £80ish cheaper than a London guy would charge. If he can guarantee immaculate and a very good colour match (and you've seen some of his work before), then it's a good deal. Lots of people find that colour matching the Toyota colours can be quite difficult. Edited October 24, 2013 by InsolentMinx

shocks
When you get it done ask if he is flicking it over the wings this will give it a better blend, and tidy up the front end for you. Good price though.

sonic
Was quoted 100 for my faff bonnet , by a Lithuanian chap with a shed , it is mates rates , but have seen his work and it's bob on I think he works for a very small track car manufacture , spraying them , and they are about 20 - 30 k , so he ain't too bad I guess 200 smackaroonies ain't a bad price , as long it's a good job
