whats the best stuff to get scratches out of bumpers etc

Basically G3 is VERY aggressive and if you're not careful can damage the paintwork

I've always used Meguiars and swear by it. Some cracking stuff they use. Auto Glym is good but Megs to me is on another level

Was it by hand you used it or with a polisher? I tried by hand and it's not that effective but a friend had a crack with a polishing machine and it came up a lot better very easy to use too

yh by hand , i had a machine polisher before but it was a cheapie , i used to use ultimate compound to get the colour back like the faded red back to the nice red but i tried earlier and just found on the rear bumper it didnt seem to do much

I've never used this on deep scratches - only light ones. the odd scuff that was on the bodywork when I got it and few little bits that have shown up since.

hmm looks like it will sort mine , mine are like scratches that go around in a whirly motion but i dont think any are deep ...i know my old red car had the biggest key scratch down one side when i lived in my local town as two little scrotes one night thought it would be a good idea to etcha sketch a few cars ....

mine does look like the first pic in some way
