princy
As the last two posts, that's nearly always down to trapped gas/water in an uncured layer of paint
Paul@TCB
The side of the car has been sprayed at some point that's for sure, its either due to the sprayers filter as mentioned letting water get mixed into the paint or its been sprayed with water based paints and hasn't had enough time allowed between coats causing the water build up between layers, you now have on your paint a severe case of microblistering Hope this helps Paul (TCB)
Viva La Bloke
I'm guessing no amount of polishing will fix this ? It's a case of take it back to metal and spray properly ?
:: blade ::
polishing will only make shiney bubbles just a case of sanding back till smooth and repainting or source some decent silver doors and fit them
Paul@TCB
yeah as mentioned above unfortunately having a respray done, or sourcing the parts you need in good condition is the only way, weather conditions will change how much the bubbles are visible but they will always be there I'm afraid to say
Viva La Bloke
Fingers crossed for more rain until I can afford a respray then lol
Paul@TCB
I hear that Viva my poor GT4 hasn't had much love recently either hope this has helped out with clarifying what the issue is with the paint though, learnt about all this from Trevor who's been doing bodywork for about 40 years HTH Paul (TCB)
