Zorg
I have 225/40/18s on my XXRs No arch rolling needed. Oops! Just realised you're putting them on an ST205? Edited November 7, 2012 by Zorg

tombrady
235's should be fine, im on 8" wide on 235's but mine have quite a chunky look. So another .75 of an inch would be fine, maybe a bit of a stretch but nowt crazy i would imagine.

Guest
I've got 235/40/17's on now. Slightly tramlines on real bad roads Arizona - where you can see and feel the longtitudal lines from a mile. I'm guessing thats its all to do with the way the car is set up - alligned! Most of the time I can let go of the steering and it stays dead straight 235's will give a slightly stretched look as you say Tom, may need rear arches rolled and a little bit of -tve camber in the front to tuck the tops in
WheelRepair
Jerry says 245 if you can clear the arches ROTC, if not 235 B And you didn't even mention Goodyear eagle f1's
