number plate

Import plate standard is 13ins x 7ins front and back, you can have any size plate as long as the txt and font (numbers & letters) are the standard size and there is at least 10mm of number plate around the txt, if you google it on DVLA site it will give you all the info you require to keep you legal. Hope this helps and :wttc:

Did you see mine at knockhill mate? Like Wickie says, the size of the plate isn't important, as long as the clearence between the letters/numbers and the acrylic border is legal, and the font is in the correct size!

The square / import plates look good, and if you go to any automotive shop eg. Halfords they'll make up a perfectly legal one for you.

Hope that helps

I'd personally go for a 13 x 6.5 and have it on the one line.

If you fancy faffing about with designs etc then maybe have a lookie here

You won't get legal txt on to a 13ins plate in a single line, your 7 digit number plus space will fit but the txt will be smaller trust me i know and i paid £60 to plod for the privelige .

but legal...

Seems a lot of the ebay places aren't in compliance with the DVLA guidelines. Demon Plates are on my car and I really like the domed effect of them.. I was happy to pay £50 out when if I had a dodgy plate and someone pulled me over and noticed I'd get a £60 fine
