bencoe
Hi guys, i'm sure it has been covered elsewhere but havent had time to look through. I have dirt stuck on my wheels and they need a good polish, can anyone recommend the products i should use to get rid of the marks and to keep it clean from brake dust. I was thinking of rimwax and a cleaning product. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance, Ben.
Hou
http://www.ninjashine.co.uk/presta/en/wheels/12-very-cherry-acid-free-wheel-cleaner.html This wheel cleaner, diluted to the stronger side of the ratios should shift more or less anything As for keeping them looking good, I don't really agree with waxes made just for the wheels. I use Dodo supernatural hybrid on mine as well as the body and it works a treat
Razorjack
I've got some Poorboys wheel sealant which is good stuff. Still need to clean the wheels and re-apply fairly often, but it makes cleaning them much easier and seems to protect the polished rim from brake dust. humayun
I also use furniture polish, Mr Sheen to be precise. Works very well and is cheap as chips
GTsillycar
I use Halfords wheel cleaning kit to remove tar spots and brake dust. Then each time i clean the car, a quick spray with dash shine to get a sparkle and a bit of a protective coating
