Hi

was changing oil, coolant and bulbs an all sorts today with a mate, and my mate undone the injectors my mistake (thought they were the spark plugs...) any who when i put it together and ran the engine it started pissing out petrol, took it apart and this seems to be the problem:

the o-ring is broken so im assuming that if i were to replace this i will get a good seal and problem solved, only thing is i dont know where to get said part from, and im hoping you can buy just the o-ring on its own. anyone know the part number or size?

i need my car to be running by 11am so will be heading out first thing in the morning with a mate to get this fixed to need help asap!

thanks

Hi if all you need is an o-ring go to a decent garage and you should find they have a selection of o-rings. i know we do at the garage where i work. im sure they sell you you one, just take your existing one with you to get the correct size.

lol, nah its all cool, me and my mate always dick about with our cars together (my wife calls it a bromance...) and we always end up causing more problems than we started with! its all good fun tho. like trying to remove an oil filter without the proper tool... turns out a combination of a g-clamp, a hammer, brute force and a lot of swearing gets the job done :)

anywho, halfrauds do sell o rings, got some for £1.69 but none are the right size, same story at euro car part, luckily some random bloke in the shop said for me to go to a hydralic specialist around the corner. so i did the guy whipped out a massive tray of o-rings, found the one that fit then said no charge :D

got back, bish bash bosh jobs a goodun! (and now i know a local source of compression fittings etc for a gas powered airsoft project :))
