Air filter

Recommended Posts

I picked up a used induction kit today. It needs a clean. Bought a K & N cleaning kit but unsure on whether I need to disassemble the cone air filter or not. Can any one give a little guidance please. It's just a normal AEM as seen below... Thanks

I think the AEM filters are dry flow mate, so i'd only use the cleaner in your K&N kit - don't use the oil.

Use a paint brush to get rid of all the loose crap, then spray on the cleaner, let it soak for 10-15 mins & then rinse. Let it air dry afterwards, don't put it near the radiator or anything like that.
