chinny
wasnt really fussed about lowering the beams due to not wanting another celica with a harsh ride but after my lad photoshopped it with a slight drop i was sold on the idea and sourced some sport springs which dropped it 30mm which is just about right for an old barsteward like me,theres also no noticeable difference in ride quality. if i say so myself its now got a great stance

Briano
celica always amazes me on long motorway journeys, it just glides along I have the beams bug now , need to get my v6 swap done soon before i start hunting for little red engines
tombrady
Looks like its got wide arches on looking at the 2nd photo from the reflections....very nice. Did you use wheel spacers to bring the wheels out more??? Also where did you find 30mm drop springs?? Tom.
chinny
its got 5mm spacers on the fronts to clear the calipers and no spacers on the rears, springs i got from somewhere on ebay for about £

chinny
i miss this car , it was good to me its still a cracking car izzy (ask briano)all ive had to replace is the front calipers as they were completely shagged and must have been binding when you had it the state of 'em,could that be the reason for a low bhp on the dyno? izzzzythedog
i remember the brakes were crap , as were my last gen 6 and indeed this one ! ive just replaced the lines , its helped a little but still not what you may call world class i think the dynos at athe wheels not the fly , so if you could find out what they use as a % of loss due to the gearbox then you would have rather a better figure , its normally 15-25% ............. 26.4 so say 191.4 orrrrrrr 41.25 so say 206.25 , both sound about right

nerevar
Looks great - arches are perfectly filled. So wheels are offset 28 + 5mm spacers in the front?
