briggsy26
I dont know about anyone else but there doesn't seem to be all the 'how to' guides you would need on here even on the wiki pages (which are curently down), for instance installing wiring for and amp and how to do it is something I could have done with. I've just created a guide to do it for coralreef. I've looked on other forums like saxperience and they have pretty much everything on there. Is there any chance we could have a 'How to' section where people can post instructions and pictures on how to do things? Briggsy

hyper-wrap
woah woah woah, that's english for stop a horse...I never compared to Saxperience, merely mentioned their abundance of great info!
briggsy26
I'm not comparing either, I'm merely stating that if we had actual guides with photos and a complete write up there would be less users confused and cautious of 'tinkering' with there cars thus avoiding the same question being asked time after time. Everyone on here is very helpful but when it comes to full info and walkthroughs things get hazey because everybody does things differently. If we at least had a guide with pictures for the work we had done, we could all comment on improvements to the technique therefore improving not only the 'newbies' cars but also improving the cars of the more experienced if they were to learn something new from the guide and comments. No matter how much you know there's always someone who knows something you don't, and by pooling everyones knowledge we can make sure that people joining this forum are able to fit/install anything and everything to do with a celica! coralreef
just to add briggsy has kindly written up a really comprehensive guide for installing an amp and sent it across to me this week - must have taken ages as it literally includes everything! now i already knew what to do, but what i didn't know was how to do it on a celica, like running the wires under the centre console or exactly where there is a lovely gap to get the wiring into the engine area. his guide just saved me hours pissing around - be a real shame if it couldn't be posted up somewhere ;-)
