  1. Happy Birthday Heckle!

  2. Happy 1 Anniversary Heckle!

  3. Yeah I had this when I did mine a week or so back, I skimmed the linings down to fit. LPR was the brand, won't touch those again.
  4. I would normally use my torque wrench set to 76lb/ft(100Nm), as even with the short brace from the OEM toolkit I am liable to over tighten. I have been nicknamed ''gorilla-grip'' on numerous occasions for breaking studs, bolts, rounding nuts, and generally giving it too much welly
  5. Do you therefore recommend a lower torque setting if tuners are fitted?
  6. The ones I linked should be ok, as long as the dimensions quoted are accurate, I should have 0.5-1mm clearance on the anti-theft key. Just will mean I have to be careful to make sure not to touch the sides when torquing them up.
  7. Thanks for your input guys, going to get these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-x-ALLOY-WHEEL-NUTS-LOCKING-LOCKS-12MM-M12-x-1-5-TAPER-SEAT-P9-/320930795083?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab8f74e4b when I have some money...
  8. Yes, they are aftermarket wheels. Please don't tell me I have to go to Halfwits... (Halfords)
  9. Soooo... got a set of wheels today, they were previously from a gen 7 and a gen 5 GT4, but they don't want to go on my gen 6 GT. My stock 21mm nuts are too big to fit in the nut wells of these rims. Do gen 7's and 5's use 19mm nuts? And if so, are the threads the same?
  10. Me too, can't afford atm, got to spend a small fortune for MOT, but interesting future project... Winter is worse for me Ita, get sun in my eyes and reflection from the dash driving to and from work
  11. Happy Birthday Heckle!

  12. I think we should be grateful for all the stupid people that go out and buy new cars; they get the depreciation, we get the cars cheap after a few years...
  13. I've had the ''mid-life-crisis'' comment too, the one that annoyed me most though is a guy I know likes to call it a ''plastic porsche''. He drives a corsa van, nuff said...
  14. Welcome to Celica Club UK Heckle :)
